Worst pizza I ever had in my life

Worst Pizza I ever had matter of fact worst Pizza the four of us ever had. That was the consensus it was burnt and it was horrible. When I called to order the pizza they made a fool of me because I called to order my pizza they told me that this time only they would do an in-house order for me over the phone that I'm supposed to call and use the internet. Then they went on to tell me how the next time they wouldn't do this and I'm going to have to order over the Internet because that's how it's done. Listen if you want my business you're not getting it anymore if you want business you take orders whether they call or however they come in. You talked a good talk I gave you a $12 tip to run the pizza across the street and I got garbage. I tried to put a picture up of how burnt and how disgusting this pizza was matter of fact the two pizzas.

In a pizza-rich community like NEPA, it’s not easy to offer something new, and it’s even harder to make it good. Gio’s does both. I would describe their pizza as artisan. They have some simple but unique twists on the classics, and some altogether creative options that are almost like an entree on crust. My three personal favorites are the Sourdough Sicilian pizza, Hot Honeybee pizza, and Snow Bark pizza, with the Florida Style pizza receiving an honorable mention. Gio’s is a great compliment to the other great local pizza places in the Abingtons. Keep up the great work!

Pizza lives up to the hype. So good. Everybody was friendly and quick to make sure our experience was good.

This was hands down the best pizza I've ever had.

This is came here with a friend, and we were blown away. We travel all over trying different pizza spots, always on the hunt for the best—and this place just shot straight to the top of our list. Honestly, it’s not even close. The crust, the sauce, the toppings—everything was perfect. If you’re even slightly into pizza, you have to try this place. Can’t recommend it enough.

Wasn’t impressed. The sauce on my pizza was not good and the pie was baked too well done. The crust was burnt

I was there for the first time and I was very impressed from the welcoming of the owner, to the taste of 3 different kinds of pizza, to the good bye. I will be a returning customer and I will be treating my employees with take out very soon! thank you!

First I must say the food here is fantastic. I decided to try the Gio's on a friend's recommendation. I drove over an hour to get there. I wasn't disappointed. I had the sourdough pizza with cured black olives and chocolate panna cotta. I can't wait until I have the opportunity to have it again.
Now for my disappointment and that is with the service. When I arrived I sat a table and looked at a menu. I then waited for someone to take my order. No one ever came. After twenty minutes I went up to the counter to order and pay. There is no sign that says to place your order at the counter. I then waited 45 minutes for my pizza which was less than the hour quoted all good. My pizza arrived not hot but luke warm. After I had my fill of pizza I decided to try the chocolate panna cotta. I went up to the counter to order and pay for it and then went back to my table to wait a good 40 minutes for it to arrive. Finally, the guy who took my order came to my table to ask if there was anything else I needed. I said I was still waiting for my panna cotta. That is when he told me it was in the cooler and I was supposed to get it myself. Had I been told this when I ordered I would not have been sitting there waiting. I am not happy about that.
Next time I am going to try the Dixson City location. Hopefully the customer service is better there.

Tried the new location in Dickson City. It was fantastic. Ordered the New Haven and Italian Stallion Sicilian. Both were excellent. Look forward to trying the Hot Honey Bee and the New York.

Unlike the other local pizzarias who advertise New Haven style pizza then serve a pie nothing like it, this place is 100% on point. Finally a real New Haven pizza!

My husband and I had the most wonderful experience this afternoon when we stopped in for a quick slice and were blown away by not only the divine food but more importantly the exceptional customer service. We arrived about 10 minutes before opening and were greeted by John who opened the door early and welcomed us with open arms. He spoke with such passion and pride about the different menu items. We ordered the NY style and the New Haven, and while we were eating, John surprised us with a complimentary slice of the sourdough stallion which was AMAZING!. Everything was scrumptious, but the sour dough crust slice was a game-changer. A MUST-TRY. We will be frequent customers. 👏👏

Hesitated to try this place for a while because the prices are a bit higher than other local pizza spots. Glad I finally did. Definitely worth the price. Crust is phenomenal, sauce is good, cheese/sauce ratio is percent . The hot honeybee is one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had
