I had the hibachi steak and some tuna sushi. Enjoyed the soup and rice, best I’ve ever had.

Chicken overcooked for all three meals and was low quality, dry and hard as a rock. The white rice isn't sticky rice it's essentially minute rice, and the fried rice is barely flavored, it was more like a glorified white rice. The shrimps were overcooked so much they turned grainy. The soup was good, the salad dressing and sauces as well, but that doesn't make up for the fact I payed 20 dollars per plate for food that was nearly atomized. Overall atami sushi is the superior hibachi in the local area by far.

Had a wonderful time and definitely delicious dinner. I had steak and shrimp, which was awesome. Our waiter was super nice. Also our cook was really entertaining. We celebrated a birthday and truly enjoyed our time together, and they made it special.
Hadn't been there in awhile but chose it as a meeting place with a friend. We both ordered sushi rolls and tempura appetizers. One shrimp tempura and one vegetable tempura. Both described accurately on the menu as the batter dipped tempura we have each had many times elsewhere. Our rolls came right out. The tempura appetizers came out after the meal was over and both were rolls. The veggie tempura was similar to a california roll, the shrimp tempura was a very spicy roll with shrimp in it covered in a blisteringly hot sauce. We asked, are these the tempura we ordered? The American English speaking server assured us they were despite that they obviously were not. He was odd. The whole thing was odd. The sushi/not tempura was terrible. The sushi we actually ordered and had already eaten was good.

The first thing I’m gonna say, no yum yum sauce. Total blasphemy, you guys invented that sh$t. Anyway it was a Tuesday night and they had one waiter on. Bad English and walked away while talking( lucky I kept my composure) then they bring my hibachi SOAKED in teriyaki sauce, that I never ordered. My GF ordered the teriyaki and didn’t get any ?. I’m talking a half inch puddle of it in the bottom of the plate. Starving so I tired it and it was sodium rich and pretty much tasted how it looked. The lobster was like chewing a car tire (lobsters chewy but not like this unless overcooked, I told them to take it off my bill and they did. The host guy was awesome and agreed fully. I think the food would have been good (except lobster) if not soaked in sauce like that. They made it right so I won’t trash them for that. However, I left hungry ??♂️
