Picciocchi’s has THE best pasta. Chef Stefano makes the entire experience delightful

What a truly great experience me and my fiance had here. I have minimal wine knowledge and Stefano had the best recommendations for wine and gave us all of the details about each wine, what region of Italy they are from, and how they are made. He also allowed us to try a few and made recommendation based on what we were going to have for dinner! Julie was an awesome waitress. Very fast with drinks, food and dessert and checking in often. Very pleasant experience and can’t wait to come back!

My girlfriend and I originally had reservations for another restaurant that had to be canceled due to no power. We scrambled for a new place since this was last minute. I really wanted some authentic Italian food.

I found this place and am glad I did. The atmosphere was good. We didn’t realize it would be a more upscale venue, we showed up in graphic tees and pants. We were very underdressed because every other person was in dress clothes. They have an overhang above the bar where there’s a singer/piano player who played music throughout our dinner.

The service was great. We never had to ask for anything. It was always taken care of before we needed to ask.

My girlfriend wanted a moscato, but was unsure which. The chef & owner is a sommelier and recommended a great moscato for her that she loved.

Everything we had was great. We tried the meatballs for an appetizer. They were really good and flavorful with good red sauce and pecorino cheese.

I then got carbonara, which was the best I’ve had besides in Italy. All the ingredients are imported, or made fresh in house. It was an authentic carbonara, not like most other restaurants do here. The noodles were thick and good. The sauce was flavorful and the guanciale was amazing.

My girlfriend got chicken Parmesan with gnocchetti noodles (also recommended by the owner) and 4 cheese sauce. This was also very good.

We then wrapped up dinner with dessert. I went with tiramisu, which may have been the best I’ve ever had. My girlfriend then got a pistachio cake which was also great!

I’d definitely back. If anyone is looking for good, authentic Italian food, check this place out!

When you open the door you are stepping into European elegance. From the comfy chic chairs and cozy tables the space screams 5 star. The staff are top notch. The ambience pure relaxation. This is an experience. Do not come to rush. Savor the menu. It is impossible to decide what to order as each item sounds better than the next one. From the fresh baked bread to the impeccably made fresh pasta this is Not just food, this is Love, and Life in the art of enjoyment. The meal is impeccable in flavor and texture; it is just pure joy to eat. You won’t just come once, you’ll come back again and again. I know I will! Manga…

Food was really amazing! However I only gave 4 stars because for the price, the portions are small. I'm never able to finish a pasta dish and this was easy to finish. I think a side salad should be included when you're paying $25 for a small portion. A few other problems but the food was outstanding

My family and I visited on Saturday night with reservations and were excited to try the restaurant based on friends’ recommendations. The food was absolutely delicious, but unfortunately the overall experience was disappointing.

Despite having a reservation, we were seated after guests who arrived later and stated that they did not have one. Our party of three was placed at a cramped two-top, even though larger tables were available. This meant I was seated in a plastic chair positioned in the aisle, which was repeatedly bumped as people passed by.

Service was also lacking. Our server rarely checked in, and my daughter went most of the meal without a drink refill. At times, we felt more like an inconvenience than valued guests, which was especially frustrating given how much we ordered and spent.

The food itself was outstanding, and that alone would bring me back in hopes of a better experience next time. I truly want to love this place, but I hope the service and seating are improved to match the quality of the menu.

We had catering done for our daughter's wedding yesterday. 9/13/2025. This place went above and beyond for our family. They are the kindest, most accommodating people. Every single guest raved about the food. This is our new favorite place and I know they will be gaining a bunch of new customers. If there were more than 5 stars to give I would!

I had very high hopes. I will say the staff was very friendly. The service was not the greatest. It took a very long time for drinks. Appetizers came and we waited a long time for the food. We understand the food is made fresh but, we were waiting for one last plate for an extra 5-10 minutes. I will say service was slow but friendly. The food was decent. We all had several dishes and everybody said it was good. Not bad not excellent but good or average. We went on a Wednesday.

Authentic, homemade and worth it every time. NEPA needs more places like this.

My family and I have been going to Picciocchi’s ever since they opened their first Clarks Summit location. We’ve always felt so welcomed and the food has only gotten better over the years! Coming from out of state, I’m always excited to dine at Picciochi’s whenever I’m back in Scranton. The food is top notch and the flavors are always so well balanced, vibrant, fresh, and DELICIOUS. I always get the Amatriciana but you can’t go wrong with any of their dishes.

Just wow. My mother and I stopped in while visiting family and we were blown away. First of all the Patio and restaurant are gorgeous, thats what drew us in. We stopped at the bar for a glass of wine, Ashley gave us such great recommendations that we decided to stay for some anti-pasta despite out tight schedule! The clams were to die for! Can't wait to come back to try the home made pasta!!! Especially because my sister has celiac disease and we learned that there is house made gluten free pasta available!!!

I called for a table for 6 later in the day and they were booked up. They called and offered some high top tables in the bar area which I accepted. The service was really outstanding the chef came out to greet us and mentioned some menu suggestions. The food was amazing fresh pasta done perfectly. They made a repeat customer here for sure. A great addition to the downtown food scene I wish them much success. Also the first night for music which we enjoyed.
