The Summit Market & Deli

NYC prices right here in NEPA! Good thing my teeth aren't false. They would have fallen out by my jaw dropping so far! I tried this place for a second time ...customer service was lacking and this short lady with dark hair who seems to rule the roost with an accent from the city, comes off so judgemental and cocky! terrible actor. Hate this place.

food is tasty yes, but priced for the richy rich of Clark's Summitt sadly :( like who wants to drop $15 on a quick work lunch..? location is convenient but the staff is never warm or welcoming (The exception is the older lady with Grey hair) never a smile in the joint, I always leave feeling sad. My coworker had similar experiences I came to find out recently. The owner he never smiles, so I guess it starts at the top as they say and trickles down. Lady with long black hair is always snippy and borderline rude.

The lady with the dark hair and glasses wasn’t friendly and made me feel like an outsider. I was visiting the area for a wake and I felt judged.
Just be kinder!!!!

I’ve only stopped in a couple of times, but every visit has been a good experience. Whether I’m grabbing an energy drink or something quick, the service has always been friendly and polite. If I passed by more often, I’d definitely stop in regularly!

I ABSOLUTELY love the staff as well as the delicious meals and snacks sold here! The workers who I've become friends with over time, genuinely cared as to why I had crutches with me. I had surgery a week ago today. Another remembered my mother mentioning it earlier in the week. The customer in front of me was also sweet enough to get the door for me. Whether they realize it or not, those simple acts of kindness mean the world to me. They also got the door for me and made sure that I got in my car safe and sound. The world needs more people like these three. So, if you're looking for great food and a family style atmosphere, the Summit Market & Deli is the place to go! 💜

Food is outstanding and the customer service is very good

Well I’ve been to the Summit Market many times over the years. Even before it was what it is today (the Village Market was it?) and it USED to be eh. The Sammie’s were ok, nothing great - but these new Summit Market owners have really re-vamped the menu. They cook amazing fresh and absolutely delicious food everyday. They are more than happy to let you try before you buy and they are more than happy to make anything to your liking. I’ve never had anything that was bad. Even food I don’t usually eat (like Thai) is absolutely out of this world Delish! And the smoked wings!!!! Ah! Phenomenal!Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed.

Thank you for catering my granddaughters first birthday party! everything was wonderful! we had garlic strips, vodka and penne, sausage and peppers, meatballs, Italian potatoes, green beans and salad and everything was delicious! I highly recommend them for any of your catering needs!!!!

We just ordered catering for my 50th birthday party. Wow, the food was incredible!! We ordered fried chicken and an assortment of smoked meats and not a single item disappointed. Thank you so much and Chris, you outdid yourself!

Love this place! I'm in there every other day.the employees are super. But the real man there is Chris. Wonderful cook polite and sooo friendly.Chris the potatoes and peppers Calabrese were phenomenal ? ?
