I met my beautiful granddaughter there to celebrate her birthday. I live near State college, she lives in Dubois. It was a perfect place to eat. My granddaughter had the highest recommendation for this restaurant. We had a lovely waitress, very nice atmosphere, and the food was absolutely delicious. Done exactly like we ordered. Prices were decent. Everything was very clean, as well as the restroom. I would not hesitate to visit this restaurant again.

We are visiting PA from Savannah, GA. This place has the most AMAZING breakfast! We were impressed with the portions (way too much to eat) and the food tasted amazing! HOMEMADE BREAD!!!! I can go on and on! Nicole our server was awesome!

I had really high hopes for this place based on the reviews, but my wife and I were very disappointed. The food was so-so, and the service was worse. The place was completely empty and the waitress still forgot to ask the chef to put bacon on my wife’s bacon cheeseburger and never brought my granddaughter her apple juice.

We stopped at Spanky’s during a road trip and are so glad we found it! The staff was incredibly friendly, and the breakfast was amazing—fresh, delicious, and made with care.
Traveling with a little one, we really appreciated that it was stroller-friendly and had a baby changing station in the bathroom. The whole place is clean, cozy, and full of nostalgic charm—like stepping back in time in the best way.
If you're coming through on the highway, it's totally worth the quick 10-minute detour. We’ll definitely make this a regular stop on future road trips. Highly recommend!

First time here yesterday. Phenomenal food and excellent service from my waitress. She was nice and one of the best I ever had. The coffee here is amazing. I had wheat French toast with two eggs and strawberry topping. Everything was fresh and delicious. They care about giving customers high quality food. I highly recommend this spot!
