The fish was amazing; so hard to find good fish. Fried to perfection…not too oily. Wyatt was our server and he did an excellent job. Would definitely recommend, and plan on returning when visiting the area. UPDATE: Returned to try the fish again and it was excellent!! Sometimes, I’ve run into the problem that the fish was good one week and then not so good the next week. They seem to be consistent here. Also, same server again, Wyatt, great job. Very attentive to our needs and very kind. Will return! UPDATE: Third time for Haddock fried with beer batter. Still very good and consistent.

Highly recommend Spanky’s! The food was delicious! Bacon was crisp, pancakes were big, and the toast was amazing!!! Our server was great and service was super quick! First place too where they had flavored creamers for the coffee on the table! Don’t miss out, stop in and visit Spankys!

We were there Tuesday to celebrate my sister’s 82 birthday! Our waitress, Mabel, was top notch! She kept us laughing! The food was delicious! It was my first time there. Will return again when we are back in Clearfield!!!

Below average southern breakfast, toast is special made probably was the best part. Cultish vibes cannot order take out on the weekends they make you sit inside to order and eat don’t waste your time. I think the high ratings come from lack of food experience in the area it’s a small place
My mom and I are on a roadtrip from MA to Utah. We made a stop at a hotel in clearfield and needed breakfast, so we went to Spankys courthouse cafe. We were pleasantly surprised. The service was great, food phenomenal and the house made bread spectacular. We highly recommend.

We went to Spanky’s for breakfast after celebrating Groundhog Day in Gobblers Knob. It was the perfect spot to enjoy a nice meal after an exciting morning. The staff were very friendly. They made the experience great. We’ll always remember the nice groundhogs day breakfast we had at Spanky’s.
