The food, atmosphere and service are excellent. The owner is a great guy, he walks around meeting everyone to make sure they are all enjoying their time.

We popped in on a Wednesday night and they were full due to reservations but they offered seats at the bar. We'll that was a great choice. Diane and Vaughn were the best. Food and service was the best. It was my first time there. A friend referred me and they did not disappoint. Food came out fast and hot. Portions were great. Can't wait to go back.

Great little resaurant for seafood in the greater Philly area. Delicious! We ordered soft shell crab and crab imperial- so good! All crab in the crab imperial and the soft shell crab was superb.Make reservations and be patient waiting for food but you won’t be disappointed

This is an absolute hidden gem! I’ve never had a bad experience here. The food is amazing, the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and funny and the owner stops by tables to greet customers and ask about their meal. I usually get the scallops and they’ve been consistently fabulous. I cannot wait to go back!

Came to the Clam Tavern On Saturday night and had a wonderful experience. The food was excellent and so was the server, Macala. My two friends and I had the crabcakes and they were outstanding, no filler all crab meat.

We were told about this place from a few people that it was really good. We made a reservation and no problem there. We got there and were seated right away and got our drinks so all good but every table around got bread except us. It’s a little thing to complain about but it bothered us. We ordered $17 crab skins and got 3 overcooked skins. Then our food came out and my wife’s entree looked like a kids portion with 4 tiny pieces of chicken that cost over $30. My meal was the chicken parm that had two small very thin pieces of chicken and pasta that cost $28. It wasn’t worth the price. We were disappointed. Also it’s very tight in there so when we were coming down the stairs 2 waitresses were at the bottom of the stairs and wouldn’t move so we could walk by. Just a few things that need to be improved.

The Clam is one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. And, believe me, I get around. The lights are perfectly warm and always at the right dimness, the staff are friendly, and the food is just out of this world! My husband and I usually sit at the bar, but if you want a table, you should probably make a res. Between their pristine fish tank and their decor & neon at the bar, the place is just so wonderfully authentic, the owner clearly takes great pride in its appearance. Got a dirty martini and plan your culinary journey! I am a sucker for their chicken parm and it’s the best in Delco. No lie. Their signature baked clams are a must and they come on an adorable “one-of-a-kind” tray, so cute! Lemon ‘em up, slather your bread with butter, and go to town on this as an app. The shrimp lejon is no sleeper either. You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. And if you can’t get in, go across the street to Broadway, where the atmosphere isn’t as good, but it’s almost the same kitchen. The Clam is worth the wait!

Wow! Is all I have left to say. Whoever the lady is that answers the phone is beyond rude. Called last minute (but on a Monday) for a party of 10. Asked for a time and was quick to say she couldn’t accommodate. Asked about splitting us up or another time and she acted like I was bothering her. This place has always been a must when we are in town but no more!!! I’m not mad about the availability it was just the tone. Also don’t you own a restaurant next door ? Suggest that. Nothing. Erin’s pub was happy to help!
