Food was just horrible. Macaroni and cheese taste like it was cooked days ago. My fish was over cooked and hard. Yams was sweet but taste old. I will not come back again

I will never visit this place again. Went here for my sister n law 50th birthday to celebrate. The older darker complexion bartender dismissed the fact that I wanted to order a drink and took everyone’s drink order except for me. I just got up from the bar and moved to the table. It’s was so bad the people I was with had to order a drink for me. I felt like she was being racist towards me. I didn’t give her a reason to treat me that way. I’m good on this place. There’s other establishments that are wayyyy better than this one.

Good spot to get some food drinks and listen to good music to dance to. Bartender was attentive, security on-site to pat you down for weapons. Nice size parking lot. I can see myself going back .

A Soror of mine had a fundraiser here this weekend. If I hung out in bars this seems like one I would choose old school music and there was an older crowd so less nonsense.

I am so grateful to the staff at Illusions! My mom hosted an event on my behalf on Wednesday night in the 2nd floor banquet hall. The food- roast beef, mac and cheese, green beans, a salad, and bbq chicken sliders- was so delicious. The meat was perfectly tender and everything was seasoned perfectly. Tinya and her staff packaged up the leftovers for us to take home after and it was just as good the next night. And I have nothing but nice things to say about Tinya and her staff- they made the environment so warm and welcoming. Everything ran so smoothly and the event exceeded my expectations. Two days later and I'm still riding high. Thank you, Tinya and Illusions for welcoming us into your beautiful event space. I can't wait to come in for another event or just for takeout!

Every time I have order from illusion bar and Grill the food is normally out of sight now they’re charging more money. I got one little pork chop not that many greens and not that much macaroni and cheese and I asked for a roll. I didn’t even get to roll. I don’t know if it’s because it’s the summertime but their prices went up and I normally love their food. I have never had a complaint now had to actually receive my food and it’s the first time ever. I don’t know what’s going on, but I used to get two pork chops. I got this one little small tiny child size pork chop and I spent $22. This is ridiculous now come on y’all because your menu back.

It's a chill vibe depends on the day of the week or weekend you go if it's lit or not. Food is decent drinks are reasonable priced it's something to do.
