Great folks to work with. Thanks!
A friend and I made the drive to this hard to find spot and so glad we did. The beers we had were great and it was a comfortable place with a super friendly bartender. Can’t wait to go back!
Good beer, friendly service, nice atmosphere.
Awesome place and even better people! The nicest brewery we have ever walked into
Awesome beers and great atmosphere always enjoy coming here for their awesome beers the new Jordan beer is a must try .
We came by for the debut of Jordan's Beer. Ask for it!! (Outstanding IPA!) We ordered yummy food from the Tastebudz on 82 vendor to enjoy with our brews. Especially loved the Crab seasoned Fries and Fried Pickles!!! Bonus- we enjoyed Pat's Horror Movie Quizzo!!
Cool little out of the way brewery, definitely worth checking out.
First time at Animated Brewing today. The location is certainly off the beaten path and it’s a bit obscure to find without using GPS, there is only one sign at the location itself.
Small establishment with maybe 8 stools at the bar and a center “family style” table with a dozen seats. Location has two bathrooms, with are unisex but overall were clean.
I wasn’t sure what to get and was offered a sample size of the Juicy Juicy, a grapefruit summer ale at 5.3% (abv). The bar tender was friendly as one of the three owners there today, which I talked to a bit. I also had a Soko blonde ale at 5.4% (abv). Both beers has full flavor and were poured to top of the pint.
Today was the “Punk Rock Flea Market” which consisted of a couple tables with art, comics, music, handmade hats and stickers. Not exactly what I thought and based on the business FB event picture, not even close to what it looked like.
The atmosphere was good, with some punk music playing. There was TV with the Phillies game on and several pinball games in the corner. Games are $.25/play with a bill acceptor built in.
The brewery has an affiliate food partner inside as well, Taste Buds on 82. The ordering is done at a separate window and paid separator on the bar. The menus had variety, which likely could hit any craving. Food is provided in to-go style containers but you can eat at the bar, at the table, outside or take it with you.
Beers run between $6.50-$7.50 but for the flea market all beer was $5.
The brewery has a lot of options for entertainment, such as live music, open mike, trivia, D&D and some other options throughout the week/month. Everything is advertised on their social media or on signage in the bar.
There was a wide variety of folks in/out of the brewery and it was nice to see the range of folks, from younger to locals that are part of the mug club. There was zero drama and everyone was friendly.
Parking was fine with maybe 30 spots shared between the brewery and the badminton club.
So happy we found this spot! The beer is wonderful. My favorite is Coatesville Lager but I have heard great things about their other flavors. We have enjoyed bingo; live music; flea market and more.
Tasty beer and very friendly staff and patrons. Order food from Tastebudz 82, who share some space, and you'll have a really good time.

This brewery is the best brewery we've been to in the area, so far. Definitely worth the trip from Downingtown! We had so much fun playing music trivia last night. Great beer, fun atmosphere, and awesome bar tender and owners.
This is a gem. You can enjoy the beer in a small intimate setting with your friends inside or in their charming beer garden outside. Bonus - listen to live music, check their website for times. They have a good selection of brews. I highly recommend this spot in Chester County.
Loved the beer and very friendly service with our bartender Jordan!! Give this place a try !!
