I was not sure how my 1st experience there was going to be; I saw 5-star ratings and 1star ratings. I am somewhat of a "foodie" and I would tend to agree with the high ratings!!! I believe the 1-star ratings must be from cheap complainer types who expect everything for nothing lol. I went there, on a date, last Tuesday and our meals were inexpensive and delicious. Anything coconut-curry is a safe bet, and their chicken65 was tender and tasty!!!

Expensive and small entrees. $21 for a small container of Goat Tikka masala that ended up being 100% bones and connective tissue. The masala sauce was ok, the korma sauce was straight bland, like zero spices were used.A lot of the 5 star reviews are fake, you can see the people only have 1 review on their profile and it's this restaurant, which is a dead giveaway. So I was hesitant to order in the first place. I only did because the much much better Indian restaurant nearby is closed on Sundays. Also, it was dead inside. Only one table seated, yet their Google profile says busier than usual, lol.

No idea what all of these one star review are on about, this was one of the best meals I have ever had in my life. Absolutely delicious food, great service and pretty good atmosphere, and reasonable prices for both quantity and quality. Also, a great vegetarian selection, and halal meats. Will definitely be coming back :)
Food is really not that good, but its not bad either. Better indian places around IMO.

Hosted a 40th birthday party here. Rajan was great and they put in a lot of effort. Service was great, food kept coming out at a steady pace. Staff and everyone went above and beyond.Kid-friendliness: Vegetable noodles and chicken nuggets were made as part of custom order for an event and were excellent.

My wife and I went to Aavya last night to celebrate our 6th wedding anniversary. Walking in we were impressed with the beauty and simplicity of the decor. It felt warm and welcoming. Seeing that each plate was different made me smile (I love that kind of thing). We ordered 2 orders of Vegetable Samosas (we thought they were small because the price was pretty low They are NOT small) and honey garlic shrimp appetizers. Dinner was King Curry--Butter Chicken medium heat for me, and Shrimp Korma for my wife (mild spice) and the bread basket (3 different Naans with 4 slices each--cilantro, butter and plain). I don't know how to express just how good this food was. I ate until my belly hurt and still tried to eat more. The flavors, the spice levels, the amount of food! OMG!! Yes, the leftovers came home with us! Anyone who thinks the food here is served too small or not of excellent quality and flavor is probably someone who finds fault anywhere they go to eat. Our host/waiter was attentive without being overbearing and very sweet. Shame on me for not getting his name. Thank you so much Aavya for making our anniversary dinner wonderful and special. We will definitely be back.
