For Valentine's Day, I wanted to celebrate by going to a sushi restaurant. I'd never been here before, but I'd heard good things from a couple of friends and decided to give it a go. When I came, I was greeted by a young girl, who was very friendly and welcoming! Although it took us a while to be seated, the servers were very nice and made sure to check in on me frequently. Like the service, the food was also great! The stone pot bibimbap was delicious, and anyone who goes there should definitely try it out. Overall, 10/10 experience!

There's so much that went wrong, this will be a long one. We had a reservation for my daughter's birthday, which happens to be Valentine's Day. The restaurant wasn't super busy - several tables sat, but not packed by any means. We were seated right away, but not given menus. Huh, wondering if they're still using QR codes exclusively, which are still on the table. After about 10 minutes, I see another diner at the sushi bar with a menu, so my husband goes to the front to get a few for us. Finally we're checking out the menu, and wondering if anyone will ever approach our table. Servers are walking by us, so someone has to know we're there. We're considering leaving, but it being Valentine's Day there's no chance we'll get a table anywhere else. Finally about 25 minutes after being seated, my husband goes to the front and asks for a server. Young girl finally comes over (by the way 4 servers, 3 were girls who looked to about high school age, and one young man looked to be 20 something), very friendly and apologetic, and tells us she'll comp our soup/salad, but since what we ordered comes with soup or salad, she offers free beverages. Ok, fine. (Also, as a side note, I need to order gluten free - their GF items are indicated on the menu, but always double check, because the California Roll I ordered isn't GF. The server had to check and it is made with listed on the menu as GF - California Roll - is made with imitation crab which usually has wheat.) Takes another 15 minutes or so to finally get our drinks. And then at some point, sushi comes out, then entrees, which by the way all came out at different times. When my entree came out the server told me I couldn't have it as ordered (with beef) because the beef wasn't gluten free. I'm sorry but she should have told me earlier so I might have had a chance to order something else. She brought a side of coated and fried tofu instead which I was hesitant to eat because I didn't know what the coating was. Where's the soup/salad? Oh well. I guess she forgot. All the while, another table that came in about 20 minutes after us has come and gone. Clearly they had a more attentive server. So, after we're pretty much done eating, the server comes back to check on us, I tell her we never got our soup/salad, so we ask for it to go. I guess what gets me is the manager never came to our table to offer an apology or an explanation of what happened. I would have expected her to at least check in with us to make sure everything was ok. As for the food, it was a mixed bag, some good, some bad. Due to the service and lack of clarity with their GF food, we won't be going back.

Came in for solo lunch. Quick and efficient service. The dolsot spicy pork bowl was perfect for a cold winter afternoon and this was honestly the best miso soup I’ve ever had. Couldn’t be happier with service, ambiance and food. Will absolutely be returning.

If I could give more stars I would, definitely top 5 all time favorite restaurants and probably #1 for overall experience. Everything was fresh and delicious, my fiancé and I both said we couldn’t remember the last time we had food this good. Our waitress was absolutely wonderful, great at what she does and so sweet and helpful. We were celebrating my fiancé’s birthday and not only did we get a free dessert, the whole staff actually came out and sang, my fiancé was so embarrassed so obviously that was 11/10 happy memories for me. Can’t recommend highly enough, we will definitely be back soon.

Their sushi is very fresh and the servers are pleasant. They have such a wide variety of choices to suit anyone. The place is nicely decorated and festive. I usually do takeout and don't have to wait very long.

Honestly shocked I haven’t reviewed this place already considering how often me and the fam have dined here. I’ll keep it simple, if you’re looking for quality Japanese or Korean cuisine, Bonjung is THE spot in Collegeville. Great food, service, and ambiance. We go often, and in fact our 5 year old loves this place probably more than my wife and I.

The sushi was so goood, also liked that they had various vegetarian and chicken options!

The sushi and sashimi were good! The salad was very cold. The restaurant was freezing, so dress warm.

Unfortunately our first and only experience here was awful! The bbq was extremely dry, our salmon and tempura were cold, we asked for a second side of the same chicken they served our child but they said they can’t serve it the same way (which was odd) instead they offered fried chicken tempura. We don’t like fried but tried it and it was tasteless and gross. We mentioned our tempura and salmon were cold then the server only offered to re-fry the tempura & warm up the dry salmon. I had a piece so it was concerning that they re-fried the same pieces. I only give them credit for their toro. We won’t come back and don’t recommend!

BYOB Korean/Japanese restaurant. Atmosphere is really nice, and the food is spectacular. I really recommend the bibimbap. It was killer in the stone bowl and my rice was crisp which I love. Employees were friendly and provided a nice experience. I also had the cold soba dish which I haven't found anywhere else since I returned from Japan so that was a treat!Parking: Parking is around back but there is an entrance through there as well!

On a whim my wife and I decided to stop in and have dinner and although I am a novice at the menu (had only ever had the Bento Box at lunch) I was able to navigate through and choose the Spicy Chicken in a stone pot and it was fantastic! The waiter was knowledgeable and helpful and the overall ambiance was great. We will definitely be back again soon
