Love this place! Food & beverages plentiful & fabulous. Friendly staff & very clean. We will be back!
Like most places, they are short staffed. Nachos were good, but had very little chicken on it. Got the Nachos, but realized we didn't have napkins and utensils or small plates. Asked waitress and she just threw them down as she was quickly going by. Took a while for refills. Our main meals were good. A little pricey.
Classic bar/restaurant combo with many TVs and arcade games in the waiting area. Affordable beer and decent food. The workers are very friendly!
Had a great time tonight with my soon to be father in law and my fiancé. Lauren was a great server with an awesome personality. Thanks!
This was a first time visit for us and we were very pleased with the menu selections, the food quality, and the service. Our very friendly greeter at the door raved about the desserts but we were too full to enjoy any on this trip. Sounds like we'll need to come back! We're looking forward to another visit.
I took my son to Chammps for lunch at his request. I ordered a grilled buffalo chicken sandwich. Halfway through, in the thickest part, it was very chewy and slightly undercooked. Our server Dana, who was excellent by the way, noticed my uneaten food, plate pushed to the edge and asked what was wrong. I told her and she sent her manager, Ted over. I said that wasn’t necessary, but she said he should know.Ted- I was told you wanted to me see.Me- the chicken was rubbery and chews like it’s undercooked.Ted (rudely and with attitude) It’s definitely cooked and you ate enough of it. But I’ll take it off your check.Me- The thinner edges were fine it’s the middle that’s gross. I didn’t ask you to take it off my check.Ted- No it’s fine, you don’t like it. “walks away”I wasn’t looking for a free meal Ted. It’s really poor customer service to be rude and tell your customer she’s wrong. I know what good, well cooked chicken tastes like and that wasn’t it. Walking back past and saying “sorry about your chicken” doesn’t change how rude and dismissive you were. Not the first time we had poor service at Chammps but likely will be the last for a while. Our server still got a 20%+ tip on the full bill. Definitely not her fault.
So much potential. Our server was good and we tipped accordingly but I could just see the uncaring demeanor of the other staff. Steak was thin and fatty, cup came with a piece of lettuce stuck inside, and place was clearly not cleaned regularly as there was tables that were dirty and food and trash on the floor and were never cleaned the whole time we were there. I know Covid makes everything harder so I don't want to be too critical I just think the moral of this place is its biggest problem.
We get to watch all pay per view events for free.Good food too.
Lackluster. An expensive night out on the town for mediocre food and unmixed drinks. Everything was missing something, unseasoned, or just missed the mark completely...Blah. Very disappointed we tried this place - First and last time we'll do that I suppose. Hopefully they go out of business for something worthy of this shopping center.Because it wasn't good, manager did comp one of our entrees. Waitress was very sweet & accommodating. Those are huge pluses at least. A little kindness goes a long way. 2 stars for you Glenn coco.
All the food was fantastic except, I specifically asked that my chicken not be overcooked and I received a hockey puck of chicken... despite me mentioning it to the server, no discount and barely an apology...Get the Roasted Brussel Sprout appetizer... sounds weird, I know, but it was AWESOME.
Restaurantji Recommends
My family (7) had dinner there on Saturday night and our food was great but even better was our server Lauren. She told us it was her 3rd day ever serving and let me tell you she was great!!!! We had ordered that had to be specialized and she did it all without any error. CHAMPPS is lucky to have her on their staff.
Champs is our go to restaurant. Staff is always helpful and kind. We love the american menu. The bar has a great selection of drinks too.Staff appears to be trying hard to comply with Covid guidelines.Food is available for eat inside, eat outside and to go.
Only second time here, both experiences were wonderful. Jennifer remembered us from the first time, and we will be back for a third and more. Highly recommend!
Great service but if you like your burgers well done double check because they move too fast and dont cook them all the way, especially if you do car side to go.
I went to Champps for dinner on Sunday February 21st, with my family. It was the first time we’ve eaten at a restaurant in months. Our experience was phenomenal!!! Spencer, whom I believe is the manager, was awesome!!! He was so courteous and kind. He made our First time out again so pleasurable. Oh and the food was awesome. He recommended we get the mile high ice cream for dessert. Let me tell you it was amazing!!!! One of the best desserts I have ever had. We will definitely be going to Champps in the future. I just hope Spencer is there the next time we visit. Thank you Spencer!!!!!
