Another great dining experience at Chow Bistro.
The food and our server Ben were first-rate.
This place is among other things a neighborhood gem. Being a resident of Collegeville it is so nice having this wonderful establishment in our community.
My thanks to Ben and everyone else.

Everything was very tasty and creatively done. The service was top notch.
The Korean chicken dumplings appetizer are a must!

We were excited to celebrate son’s birthday because he orders door dash and raved about short rib. Friday night 6 people with reservations and we felt like guests have said Aliens! Service was terrible all food was bland every dish felt like it needed something more added. No A/C on a 78 degree night and it was hot inside. Filet Mignon Oscar ordered Medium it came out raw and cold!
Short Rib was dry and Bolognese overcooked! It felt like they didn’t want us there! Don’t worry we won’t be returning.

First visit after years a hearing good things. Weekday specials are a great deal. Salmon was some of the best I've had. Beet and burrata app was so good! Took half home and made a salad the next day.

Everything from appetizers to dinner was excellent. We had the bang bang shrimp, lump crab bruschetta and watermelon arugula salad to start. Entrees were filet Oscar, seared halibut and seafood jambalaya. Each one was delicious. However, the jambalaya was to die for! I wanted to take another order to go it was that good!
Our server was very pleasant and attentive. Cant wait to go back!

Delicious meal from start to end. The jJmbalaya had amazing flavor, Halibut was a generous portion, and the filet Oscar was cooked to perfection.

When we first arrived at 4:30 (we knew it was right at opening time), The guy at the entrance asked if we had a reservation and when we said no he walked away. Eventually a woman came to us and seated us. The rolls that came out to us were rock hard. Then when our food came out (filet mignon and shrimp and crab risotto), the $41 filet mignon was served with instant mashed potatoes.
On a side note, the decor is that of a teenage girl who is finding her personality. Weird pop art on one wall. Breakfast at Tiffany's in black and white on the other side. And a weird pop red cow head over a table blocking the fireplace.
We wanted to enjoy the food with all the good reviews, but it was just bad.

EDIT:
This was a couple months back. I hate leaving bad reviews so I debated about it. But the fact you think i'm a scammer is crazy. Your food was store bought on coupons. Maybe tell your 65 year old cook to stop using instant because i know the taste. I feel bad for those who shop here hoping for real food.

We drove from Philadelphia to come here. Sadly, when we arrived the greeter was looking at us as if we were aliens. Only 2 people were eating and the rest of the restaurant was empty. The greeter ask if we had reservations, we said no. We found it strange due to the fact that the restaurant only had 2 guest. The greeter asked us to hold on and walked away. A minute later he came back and said that they can give us a table but we have to be done by 6pm. Mind you it was like 4 something already.The whole vibe was weird. We declined and left. We ended up in Harvest Grill in Collegeville and we were served with love.Never ever would I step foot in this restaurant. They need to learn to embrace guest.

We went there after a wine tasting event. And was stared at as if we were aliens. And was told they could not accommodate us ( 6 customers) There was so many tables empty. They actually only had 2 tables with customers. Then they told us that they can sit at a table mind you it was 4 :15 and was told that we had to leave by 6 pm. We would have to oder our food then swallow it fast to be out by 6. Just felt so profiled and unwanted. Will never go there again.

We were very excited to try this place given its great reviews. Sadly, we left extremely disappointed. Both of our dinners were not very good. My husband had the halibut which was dry and bland. I barely ate my dinner as it was so salty. For dessert my husband had the cookies and ice cream. The cookie was very thick and tough. The table next to us had a similar complaint and the waiter argued with the patron and bullied her into taking back the dessert. My dessert was clearly microwaved as the temperature was extremely hot in the center to ice cold at the ends. It was a truly odd experience and we will not be back.

Consistently great food and service. I had not been there in a few months so I was so pleased to enjoy another fabulous meal there. Bonus its BYOB. My server was very attentive despite a busy Saturday night. It does get noisy in their small space as it fills up.
