Where do you start? I’ll tell you, right here at Robert Ryan! Over the top fantastic! Our guests are still complimenting how great all the food was and the attentive staff. They went above and beyond to assure that our backyard wedding went off without a hitch, despite the rainy weather. From the planning stages to the main event and eventual clean up, I couldn’t imagine using anyone else. Robert Ryan’s staff is an asset to the event and catering community!

Food was absolutely amazing and came out on time and set up was perfect, would highly recommend the buffet!!

The catering was absolutely phenomenal! Everyone is still raving about the food — it was one of the biggest highlights of the entire day! From the delicious hors d’oeuvres to the incredible dinner, every single bite was amazing.
And we have to mention the French fry bar — it was a HUGE hit!
Other than how beautiful the whole day was, the food was definitely the most talked-about part of our wedding. We can’t thank Robert Ryan Catering enough for making it such a memorable and delicious experience!

Ok, today we had a celebration of the life for my mom in law, who passed away.I have to say that this catering people are the best!Firstly I met the owner, OMG such a charismatic and professional guy, also his manager, and the owner's daughter?OMG such a sweatheart and she was the coordinator! And the service they provided today, simply exceptional!!!Their stuff is just amazing. I can't say anything bad about them, actually they made this celebration even more special, and I wanna say : THANK YOU SO MUCH GUYS ,GOD BLESS YOU!!!

Robert Ryan Catering and Design was absolutely amazing! From the food itself to the set up and take down of accessories, everything ran so smoothly and we got so many compliments on the food. Their staff is amazing and clearly communicates and works together well. The whole process from start to finish was organized and easy to work with. Special thanks to Amanda, our coordinator. She was so sweet and born to do this job. We loved working with her. Also special thanks to Brianna, our day of coordinator. We truly enjoyed working with Robert Ryan Catering to plan our wedding at Philander Chase Knox estate. From our first meeting with Amanda to tour the estate to when we were walking out at the end of our reception, we felt prepared and taken care of. Amanda guided us through the planning process and was always around to answer questions and provide advice, making it as painless as it could be. She helped us make sure all of the details were thought through and prepared everything so that the day went smoothly. At the reception, Talia ensured that everything went off perfectly. She checked in with us, made sure we had food and drink, and made us feel like we were guests, not hosts. All of the staff, from the bartenders to the valet team, were kind, courteous, professional, and efficient. Plus, the food and drinks were fantastic. Thank you to everyone at Robert Ryan for helping us have the perfect wedding!

We had the pleasure of working with Amanda, the Event Manager for the catering at our son’s wedding, and her work was nothing short of exceptional.

From the initial concept through the final execution, Amanda led the strategic planning with professionalism, insight, and genuine heart. She wasn’t just managing logistics—she was helping to shape the soul of the event. Every element of the catering experience was thoughtfully planned and flawlessly delivered, thanks to her leadership.

Amanda consistently went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect for everyone, especially for our son and daughter-in-law.

One particularly memorable gesture: when the catering kitchen couldn’t replicate our son’s favorite gnocchi sauce, Amanda took it upon herself to go to his favorite restaurant and personally purchase the sauce. That kind of care and attention to what mattered to the couple is rare—and deeply appreciated.

Amanda also coordinated seamlessly with the day-of coordinator from the same catering company, ensuring that the event ran smoothly from start to finish.

We are beyond grateful for the exceptional service provided by the day-of Event Coordinator, Brie, and the catering staff at our son’s wedding. From start to finish, they were absolutely outstanding.

The entire team was attentive, kind, and incredibly professional, all while radiating warmth and joy. They anticipated needs before we even had to ask, and ensured that everything, from timing to table settings to guest comfort, was perfectly handled. Their smiles never faded, and their calm, friendly demeanor set a beautiful tone for the entire celebration.

The day-of Coordinator, Brie, in particular, made everything feel seamless. She kept the flow moving smoothly behind the scenes, so we could all stay present and enjoy the moment. It's rare to see a team that works so hard and makes it look so effortless.
They were a huge part of why the day felt so magical. We cannot thank them enough—and we would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone planning a special event.

The food at our son’s wedding was absolutely outstanding from start to finish—a true culinary experience that exceeded all expectations!

The appetizers were fresh, creative, and delicious, setting the perfect tone for the evening. Every bite felt thoughtfully prepared. The salad and main courses were magnificent, both in presentation and flavor. Guests are still raving about the Gnocchi, made even more special by the incredible gesture of driving to Philadelphia to pick up Ralph’s famous sauce—such a meaningful and personal touch.

Each dish was a standout: the chicken was tender and flavorful, the carving station perfectly executed, the salmon beautifully cooked, and the vegetables vibrant and perfectly seasoned. Every element on the plate was treated with care and skill.

The drinks were also excellent—well-balanced, perfectly chilled, and served with a smile. The bar staff kept everything flowing smoothly, adding to the festive atmosphere.

It’s rare to find a caterer that delivers on quality, flavor, presentation, and service—but this team did it all.

Robert Ryan Catering was amazing for our wedding! We worked with John through most of the process, he took over after another event manager left, and had a wonderful experience. He was so communicative about all of our options and worked with us and made it so easy when we had to travel from out of town for much of our planning process. The food was delicious and all of our guests raved about it! There were so many options to choose from and the service was incredible. From cocktail hour to serving dessert, we couldn't have asked for a better caterer. Though we provided our own alcohol, the mixers, garnishes, and bartenders provided by Robert Ryan were wonderful! Cannot recommend them enough for delicious and memorable wedding food.

The food and staff were all amazing. They listened to all dietary restrictions of specific guests as well as our notes from our tasting. Everything came out amazing. They even boxed up the rest of the bride's meal and sent it home with her because she forgot to eat it all. Our day of coordinator was on top of everything and made everything run so much smoother for us! 10/10 recommend using them at any of their locations.

Food is amazing but the hired staff is awful. Rude to patrons. We got the vibe that we were bothering every time we went up to get a drink. The catering staff were the by far the most unprofessional crew I’ve ever experienced.

Robert Ryan Catering was amazing for our wedding at Barn on Bridge. Our guests were raving about the venue. The food was so good with so many options to choose from. Everyone said not only was the food amazing but there was such a variety that they ate all night. We did 3 food stations and envisioned everyone eating and drinking and dancing all night and Robert Ryan made it happen. Everyone was so impressed with the setup service and quality of food. I definitely Recommend the late night stations. The cheesesteak and fries were the perfect end to the night for guests to take home. Thank you for making our day absolutely perfect. If there was a 10 star rating i would Give it thank you!

I attended several weddings and special events catered by this company. As someone with food allergies, I felt very taken care of and the food quality was fantastic and absolutely delicious. The staff made sure I knew what foods I could and couldn't eat, and they were so nice. Highly recommend!

We had our wedding with Robert Ryan Catering in fall of 2024. The entire team there was a pleasure to work with. John Alexander was our event coordinator, Edie was our Day-of coordinator, and Serena was our day-of attendant. Every request was met with respect no matter how non-traditional, and John brought our event to life with perfection. He took charge of contacting a vendor on our behalf to reduce week-of stress on me, and the day went perfectly with zero work on our parts to maintain the flow and make sure we kept time. Edie followed up with us several times throughout the evening to update us and reassure us, and we never went without drink or food. Truly an amazing team, if I ever had the opportunity to have another event like this, I would sign on with RRC in a heartbeat. Food was hot and delicious, the tasting was super fun, and the whole process was a dream. I cannot recommend them enough.
