We had our wedding with Robert Ryan Catering in fall of 2024. The entire team there was a pleasure to work with. John Alexander was our event coordinator, Edie was our Day-of coordinator, and Serena was our day-of attendant. Every request was met with respect no matter how non-traditional, and John brought our event to life with perfection. He took charge of contacting a vendor on our behalf to reduce week-of stress on me, and the day went perfectly with zero work on our parts to maintain the flow and make sure we kept time. Edie followed up with us several times throughout the evening to update us and reassure us, and we never went without drink or food. Truly an amazing team, if I ever had the opportunity to have another event like this, I would sign on with RRC in a heartbeat. Food was hot and delicious, the tasting was super fun, and the whole process was a dream. I cannot recommend them enough.

Philander Chase Knox Estate was a lovely autumn venue and Robert Ryan Catering did a fantastic job with coordinating all staffing and catering needs. Amanda F was the most genuinely enthusiastic and kind event coordinator we met while looking at different venues. She really cared about our story and us as people getting married, and was easy to communicate with throughout the process. We always felt comfortable asking questions and she also had creative ideas like doing a ramen appetizer when my now husband and I couldn’t decide between soup or salad even though we agreed on everything else for the menu. She even did a cute touch of adding chopsticks to all the place settings that we didn’t even think to ask for. Having a venue and caterer that supported our multicultural backgrounds was something important to us, and Amanda and all her staff definitely did that. Talia and Ilani did a fantastic job as our day of coordinators. They handled unexpected events before our ceremony with grace and expertly juggled coordinating timing of serving food and our speeches, dances, etc. so that we could do all the things we wanted to do while enjoying a great night. Last but not least they made sure we had a sampling of our foods from cocktail hour and that anything we did not have time to eat for our main course was packed to go. We were extremely grateful for that at the end of a long and lovely night! Thank you to the Robert Ryan Catering team for a wonderful wedding.

We used Robert Ryan for our wedding at The High Point in July 2024. We were so pleased throughout the whole process and the execution of our wedding day. Staff was awesome, food was great, and everything was handled so well. Michelle (our event planner) and Bri (our day-of coordinator) in particular were so detail-oriented and on top of everything throughout the process. Definitely would recommend Robert Ryan!

My son and his beautiful bride were married this weekend at the Philander Chase Knox estate in Valley Forge National Park. I don’t even know where to begin. If I had to sum it up in just one word, that word would be magical. Everything about it was polished and professional. The staff were incredibly courteous and competent. Talia, their “day of” coordinator was over the top excellent. She made the day run so smoothly. We did not even have to think, because she already thought it for us. It put us all at ease, knowing we were in such skilled hands. There is not one thing I would have changed. Thank you, thank you, thank you for making my first child’s wedding experience the ultimate dream. P.S. I still have a daughter!!!

Robert Ryan Catering (RRC) was truly incredible to work with from beginning to end. As soon as we saw the Philander Chase Know Estate, we were fairly confident it was where we wanted to get married. After meeting with the RRC team, we were one-hundred percent positive we had found our venue. From the start, RRC provided a high level of communication and support which made planning as stress free as possible. All of my emails were responded to timely, and they were extremely accommodating. It is clear they love what they do, and they helped us curate our wedding in exactly the fashion we wanted it. And the food was AMAZING. All of our guests raved about the food. To quote one guest, “This makes up for all the food I’ve had at other weddings!”. To top it all off, RRC worked with us to create a signature cocktail that was delicious!

Apart from the amazing food and drinks, the day of coordination was incredible. Bri made everything run so smoothly. My husband and I were worry-free all day thanks to Bri. Her timing on everything was perfect, and she made sure that we had everything we needed the entire night. She made us feel so comfortable and we were able to enjoy the day knowing she had everything taken care of. Every detail we talked about was executed perfectly. They set up everything we asked and also boxed it all up at the end of the night. Recognizing that we would be occupied with pictures and guests during cocktail hour, Bri arranged plates including all the hors d’oeuvres for us in the bridal suite after the ceremony and at our sweetheart table. She also made sure my husband and I had to-go food to enjoy as we were leaving.

I could go on and on about all of the positive experiences we had working with Robert Ryan Catering. Our day was absolutely perfect.

Five stars isn't enough. Everything for our wedding was handled by the Robert Ryan team with excellence, joy and flair. They made our wedding the most fun and special day for our guests as well as my husband and I. The planning process was so enjoyable and smooth!

They worked so hard to make sure we could accommodate the different food restrictions of our guests, and truly went above and beyond to do so. What a wonderful event, from start to finish kudos to the entire staff.

The wedding was beyond our dreams come true, every detail was lovely and delicious. Talia epitomized what personal care and customer service should be. We were beyond happy, and they exceeded our expectations on the day of the wedding.In good conscience, I should caution those signing a contact to include a sentence that the menu prices given at the time of the contact will be adhered to. Several weeks before the wedding they sent our bill and increased the menu enhancement prices. These items (especially the sushi bar) were very important to my daughter and just weeks before the wedding we agreed to the increased prices but I did not consider that a fair business practice. We spent probably $1500 more than we expected.

We love this venue! They do an amazing job. We decorated there, and loved the spiral staircase. Here is a photo of the Balloon Decor.

Had our wedding here in 2019 and they were so good incredibly amazing ? good food, great service, phenomenal price.

Huge props to Leigh, our event coordinator, and Natalie, our day-of coordinator, for being so exceptional and amazing! They really made our day special and accommodated everything that we asked for.
