The Lamb Korma was delicious, and owner(s) were super nice! The Ursinus student discount was great too. :)UPDATE July 24th, 2021: Walked here today and was sad to see that Shagun is closed. It seemed like they were struggling during covid, but it hurts knowing I won't be able to get their delicious Korma when I'm living here again for the fall. I truly hope they reopen in a location where they can get the business they deserve, and I hope the owners see this. Thank you for the meals and memories ❤

We got takeout for the first time a few weeks ago and it was delicious! Friendly staff, easy to order and pick up, nice portions and great food. We've tried a few Indian places in the area and this is definitely our favorite.

I take my family to this lovely place quite a bit! This is the best place to eat. I go to this spot at least once a month. The meals are very tasty, the workers are courteous and the rates are reasonable. I enjoy eating in this restaurant to have a nice supper.

Last time I went there It was cold, the rice was hard the chicken had many bones the naan only had garlic and it was underdone.

Excellent food! Excellent service!Calm and happy environment, and the smiles there make it even better. The food is exquisite, the breads perfectly textured, the vegetables perfectly spiced and cooked. You can’t go wrong coming here with the family!

Had a take out ...$111 plus tip. Most wasted money ever! ...i used to love coming here. Hadn't been since COVID started.Barely any chicken in korma, masala, and Josh, totally wrong order with lamb. Naan bread was old stale and not edible. Tasteless foodWill not patronize this place again soooo disappointing!

I had the most amazing experience at Shagun this Saturday. My party of 4 was seated quickly and the server followed Covid guidelines very well. I felt extremely safe and not to mentioned the food was amazing. My party and I split a few entrees and appetizers and we left extremely satisfied. I cannot complain and will be back. It was also great to chat with the staff, they were quite friendly!

We ordered for a takeout today, we ordered dal makhni, paneer, veg fried rice. Dal and paneer were ok but the veg fried rice was stale. My daughter couldn’t eat it and we had to trash it. Besides that most of the entrees are very expensive when compared to other Indian restaurants. I frequent this restaurant and this is my first bad experience here.2 stars only because the naan, dal and paneer were ok.

Nice service however, our food didn't come out together at same time, too much rice and very little bit of meat, food wasn't hot as it suppose to, too much salt and they charge too much for any little thing you ask for. Two small sauces $ 14.00 and three breads $ 13.50. I will not go there again!

I got a gift card from my job to order at a few different restaurants and I was in the mood for some Indian so I decided to try this place out since I had to run errands in the area. I ordered the Tandoori Salmon and it came with rice and different peppers, and I also got the spinach and paneer naan. The Salmon seemed like a small portion based on all of the pictures I seen of the dish and it was dry. The gave me the smallest piece of lemon ever so that didn't help much. The flavors were decent but I have had better. I was especially excited about the spinach and paneer naan but I was disappointed. I just knew it was going to be a burst of flavors based on the ingredient profile but again it was just okay. I mean nothing was inedible but nothing moved my taste buds. I have had very delicious Indian food and have been amazed by the flavors. I wouldn't say that I would not eat here ever again but I would try other options if I were in the mood for Indian. PSA- I forgot to take pictures.

The food is outstanding. Their vegetable samosas are to die for and their chicken tikka masala is creamy and the chicken is so tender. I absolutely love this place and it’s some of the best Indian food I’ve ever had. The staff has always been friendly to me and this place never fails to impress me. My day has been made by how awesome this food is and I absolutely hope that anyone else who eats here gets the same amount of joy that I have gotten from this food.
