Place was empty on Valentine’s. So definitely did felt like I book the whole place to myself lol. But that was the only high of the place. Food is on sweet side and not even coconut sweet. Just sweet.

Great family business, super friendly and the food was amazing. We got the pho, great broth. Golden triangles for appetizers. Don’t forget to get the sweet sticky rice and tarp ice cream to end your dinner can’t go wrong !Kid-friendliness: My son doesn’t eat Thai, we were allowed to bring pizza for him to enjoy

First visit and walking in was a very warm and friendly atmosphere. We came at 6:00 pm on a Friday which was not too busy. The server was very friendly. The food was flavorful, and quite good. My only frustration was the very plain and non existent presentation . Food on a plate with no frills. My Tom Kha soup was delicious but mainly broth and a couple of peppers and 2 shrimp. I looked back at a photo from 4 years ago and that soup looked great but not anything like what I got!! I think I would go again but pricing/ presentation needs some work.

Been dining in and using this fabulous restaurant for take-out for so many years. I can’t understand why there isn’t a line out the door, as they are hands down the best Thai food in the area. Family run business, that is always so welcoming, accommodating, with fantastic food at a reasonable price. If you have dined with them, please give them a try. You will not be disappointed!!!

Love this place! Everything I've tried is delicious. Especially the pad see eww, thai basil, thai ginger... all good! And the huge portion of pho is a big hit with all who've tried it.

Cozy, family-owned shop. Very friendly and the food was authentic. Pad Thai tasted good and was a decent portion and was not greasy. The thai basil was very flavorful. Also thai dessert is great and was homeade!Vegetarian options: Tofu was an option

One of my favorite parts of Thai cooking is the use of fresh, high-quality ingredients, and they nailed it! I got the impression that the owner/chef cares about each dish she creates when she recounted how she created mine when I went to pick it up. I'll definitely place another order here. Strongly suggested.

I visited Chow Bistro for the first time last night, and I will undoubtedly return. The cuisine is incredibly diverse and includes anything from homemade pasta to fried dumplings. Greg, our waiter, was incredibly helpful. Everything he suggested was excellent. Try the mushroom bisque if it's on the menu; it was incredible. The prices are fair, and the BYOB policy makes it even more cost-effective.

A takeout order came in. The proprietors were cordial. The dinner was a little expensive, and when I brought it back to my hotel, I thought it was tasteless. There was one basil leaf in my chicken Thai basil. No taste. The dumplings were ordinary and IQF. They have room to improve.

This restaurant falls short of expectations while being widely hailed as the best in the Upper Providence neighborhood. ordered basil chicken and chicken with Tom Yum. People were uneasy after eating Tom Yum Soup. Essentially, they used spicy chicken broth, carrot pieces, and a tone of Sriracha. I gave the basil chicken a liberal 3 stars because it was halfway edible.
