The past 2 times I was at the Library the noise level was crazy, very hard to hold a conversation. Food ordered was not cooked to the temp requested. The one dish came with herbed spaetzle of which the amount on the plate was not even enough for a child.

The Library is an absolute gem! The food was incredible from start to finish — the short rib eggrolls were packed with flavor, and the sugar cane shrimp with slaw was perfectly balanced and fresh. The staff was attentive, and made the whole experience even better. And the bread pudding? Hands down one of the best I’ve ever had — rich, comforting, and unforgettable. Can’t wait to go back!

The only negative aspect was that we came in for Happy Hour and did not get those prices. They asked if we wanted a booth, high top or outside seating and we said we’ll sit outside. When we got the check everything was regular price so we asked our waiter “wasn’t it happy hour?” and he said happy hour doesn’t apply to outside seating and if we had gotten a table or booth inside we would have gotten it. like what??? at no point did anyone let us know this and it doesn’t say it online or anything. just seemed scammy. on the other hand, the food and drinks were very good and it’s a very cute spot. please tell people that if they sit outside they are (for some reason) sacrificing happy hour prices.

Excellent service from Emma! Never had dinner at the bar area on a high top… Very loud, great music and awesome espresso martinis! We had a salmon pasta dish, and a fish lightly breaded pasta dish! The shrimp cocktail was excellent! Can’t wait to go back again… Will definitely ask for e Emma!

We had a great experience. The food was very good. It was flavorful and well prepared. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive. The desserts were phenomenal! Prices are are reasonable for the quality of food. We made a 6:30 reservation and it was very busy at that time, but we were seated immediately. The dress code is casual . I wore linen pants and a nice shirt, but there were people there in tshirts and shorts as well. They were valet parking because it was busy, although we parked our own car and found a spot. Recommended
Terrible service by our waiter but ill share food and ambiance. Very cozy restaurant/bar. We sat in the bar area, high top. The garlic oysters were breaded perfectly, very tasty. The tomato soup was very acidic, it needed a bit of sugar for balance. The brisket grilled cheese was average, bread had a nice toast to it. We were never asked how our food was, never received more water, never asked for refill on my wine. Average food, terrible service was my take on this restaurant.

Stopped for a quick bite at 2:30pm on a lazy Sunday...new name/management and not sure with 18 cars in the parking lot but what the heck, let's do it. Got the Schnitty, Spaetzle and Potato Cakes with a side of ranch and sour cream. It was literally perfect! Subtle flavors but just the right amount of tasty. This place needs to be on everyone's list.

We love coming to this great neighborhood spot. The owner is a sweetheart and the service is wonderful. We have celebrated several family birthdays here, as well as an impromptu Saturday night dinner for two. Always a wonderful time.

The atmosphere was very welcoming, the food was really good just some minor complaints that weren't a big deal. The workers were very polite and respectful. The tall brunette was very nice and respectful who got our drinks and checked on us. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
