The past 2 times I was at the Library the noise level was crazy, very hard to hold a conversation. Food ordered was not cooked to the temp requested. The one dish came with herbed spaetzle of which the amount on the plate was not even enough for a child.
The Library is an absolute gem! The food was incredible from start to finish — the short rib eggrolls were packed with flavor, and the sugar cane shrimp with slaw was perfectly balanced and fresh. The staff was attentive, and made the whole experience even better. And the bread pudding? Hands down one of the best I’ve ever had — rich, comforting, and unforgettable. Can’t wait to go back!
The only negative aspect was that we came in for Happy Hour and did not get those prices. They asked if we wanted a booth, high top or outside seating and we said we’ll sit outside. When we got the check everything was regular price so we asked our waiter “wasn’t it happy hour?” and he said happy hour doesn’t apply to outside seating and if we had gotten a table or booth inside we would have gotten it. like what??? at no point did anyone let us know this and it doesn’t...
