The food here was tasty although the paneer korma had very very few pieces of paneer. However.... I initially organized some friends to try it for the lunch buffet only to learn that the price went up from $11.99 to $16.99. We were still ok to try it with the hope that the price increase would be justified. It was not. The service was non existent, there were only paper plates and plastic silverware, the floor was extremely sticky and the bathroom was completely unacceptable. My friend found a metal washer in his food and was not offered anything. Definitely not worth the price anymore! Will not be returning.
The lunch buffet was pretty good. Tender chicken tikka masala among other options. However, it’s up to $16 which we felt was a little much. Also, the bathroom was filthy, and my husband found a washer in his food.. We showed this to the worker and he apologized, but to my disappointment, did not take anything off of our bill.. Fortunately my husband didn’t swallow it! We won’t be back.
The food was delicious, authentic and of high quality. The service was outstanding and the atmosphere was peaceful. I'd say it was the best Indian food I've ever had. I'll definitely be returning soon.
My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful dinner at The Spice. The food was excellent and perfectly spiced. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable and made us feel at home. It was a great dine in experience. We will definitely be back!
We are Indian food "foodies" and have tried many Indian restaurants in the greater Philadelphia metro area. Today, we've found our new go to Indian restaurant. Very fresh food, and well balanced application of spices. Servings are generous. Reasonable pricing. Our host, Sheenam, gave us a warm welcome, very delightful personality. A solid 5 star rating!
This was our first time at The Spice and we have nothing but great things to say. From the food such was absolutely delicious, to the service which was excellent. Robert was so kind, very personable and also helped us with the menu. We highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely be back!
This was really good. We wandered in here on a whim since we were looking for a nice place to eat with table service and my wife really wanted indian food. My wife definitely ordered "one of everything" although they also have a lunch menu combo which is a full lunch for one person. I got the Chicken 65 and the server mentioned it was dry and offered to make it saucy. Of course I want extra chicken 65 sauce! Robert was a nice guy and made sure we were taken care of. The atmosphere is nice and he was well dressed and pleasant. He showed us our bill and walked us through it because my wife is an expensive date. Very nice experience all around, we'll definitely be coming back.
Pretty good. I would say that it seemed a little expensive but then when you get your food the portions are large and the quality of ingredients seems high. The dishes all seemed crafted with care and the staff was courteous. The spice profile had a nice depth of flavor. This is food from northern India. I took 1 star off for ambiance because the place smelled strongly of a cleaning agent that might be tough for some to ignore and the restroom could have been a little cleaner. The food itself is pretty darn good.
My daughter and I went to a local Indian restaurant here in collegeville. It opened up two months ago. She had buttered chicken and I had vegetables in a cury cream with a little coconut and nuts on top. Both dishes were tasty and higher quality than other place around. The prices are a little higher than i thought they would be. However, in today's world with everything priced so high, they have to be to cover all the rising cost. I would highly recommend the visit. I see on the reviews they mention poor service and fake reviews. We experienced the best service and a very friendly atmosphere. Maybe the bad reviews here are from the other local Indian restaurant friends, who knows. Give it a try the food is worth every dollar, you will not be disappointed.
We stumbled upon this place while going home. We really enjoyed the atmosphere, ambiance, guest service & the quality of the food. Being Indian, we tend to be more harsh on Indian food quality ratings, but we would highly recommend this place to anyone. The lady Sheenam who owns this place is also a very pleasant person with great service, request everyone to support her and her establishment. We will be definitely back.

delicious food & excellent service! ? My favorites so far: the Butter Chicken & the Aloo Papadi Chaat! ?
First dine in visit was good. Nice ambience. Second take out experience was terrible. Even in first visit we told that there was too much food color in paneer tikka masala. Color was still on our fingers after 2 days. We clearly asked not to add any food color while taking out. We ordered chicken tikka masala and dal makhani both medium spicy. Both were sweet. Chicken tikka was literally in a pool of oil with food color and it wasn't worth $21.99.

Food and service were great. The restaurant is very clean and the ambience is also very nice. This is somewhere you can take family/friends from out of town . It was a little pricey for the quantity of food so I’m glad they are maintaining good service and ambiance b/c that can justify the $$$. The paan bites at the front of the restaurant are so adorable and actually tasty.
The quality of the food is superb. The food was very fresh and hadn’t been soaking in oil. The taste is the best I have had outside of eating in India itself. Service was friendly and prompt. This place is a hidden gem since the opening in the last couple of months.
