Hands down the best diner experience i have had in the past 30 years, I ate at diners from lancaster county up to fort drum new york . This is my Favorite of all time . I would recommend the chipped beef . Its phenomenal ?.Also taking home a quart of Daryl ham nd bean. The dining experience from the moment you walk in till you leave is nothing short of the best you could ask for . The waitress Tina is very friendly and goes above and beyond to ensure you have the best dining experience . The owner and the cook , walk out to Greet you and make sure all is above and beyond .5 stars are not enough . To say how great this place is .

We chose this diner by chance and it surpassed all expectations. The strawberry malt was delicious and there were so many other flavors too- and then they gave me the "extra" in a separate cup. I ordered the lunker for lunch, and my friend got another one of the sandwiches on the lunch menu. I haven't had a good fried fish sandwich in a while, but this wowed me so much- the fish was perfectly fried and the bread was buttery, and it came with a separate cup of tartar sauce. The fries were perfect too. And then the owners were so nice and personal, it really added to the vibe of the place. The decor was so cute too, and we got the full experience with a bar seat. My friend and I would definitely return here again!!

Tried this place today for the first time. Very cute atmosphere, and love seeing all the vintage items. While everyone was nice, I wouldn’t say anyone was overly friendly. When arriving, there was 1 tall table and then 3 bar seats open which is the reason for only 4 stars. Thankfully someone left before we got our food and we were able to get a table, but had it not been for that I would have had a very uncomfortable visit. Food was good, small portions for the price, imo. I don’t think I’ll return, but I know other locals really enjoy it.Parking: Metered on-street parking Monday-Saturday. Free on Sunday.

My Fiance and I had wanted to go there since the first stages of construction. As we finally got a chance to go, all I can say is WOW!! From the moment you walk in, locals will take a personal step back in time with all the Columbia memorabilia cast throughout Griddles. As an outsider, you will also take a much needed step back in time with the 50's era. You will be greeted with the heart and soul of hospitality and a little Sarcasm ? Tina is the best AND won't forget you and what you order!! Brittani makes the BEST malts!!! Thank you Griddles for making our day and our community a better place with every visit!!
