The vibes were off from the second I walked in. I wasn't greeted by the hostess or bartenders, and they actively avoided eye contact. I tried to shrug it off, but the staff came across as incredibly snobby. I'm a dark-skinned person, and I couldn't help but notice that the staff seemed much friendlier and attentive to other patrons who weren't. It felt discriminatory. Joe's Hideout is a top-notch restaurant with beautiful decor and amazing food. The bartenders are skilled, and karaoke nights are a blast. It's a favorite spot for a chill date night with great cocktails. The food is affordable and delicious, with popular options like the baked crap dip, Pub Burger, and Cheeseburger Sub. They have Dr. Pepper on tap, and the staff provides amazing service. The atmosphere is really cool, with picnic benches and a big tree in the center of the room, making it feel like someone's back yard. The parking lot can be small, but wheelchair accessibility is easy with ramps and low tables available.
