There were so many items on the menu, I couldn't decide, especially after viewing the photos on Facebook. Our waitress was VERY busy, it took a little while for service, but worth the wait! “This place is so underrated. I don't get it, the parking lot is practically empty all the time but this place is legit the best restaurant in the area. The food is always unique, the draft beer selection is second to none in this town (have to go to Lancaster city or Harrisburg to compete with this). Music selection is good, servers are chill... I don't get why this place isn't packed. If u pass thru Etown u need to go to the Black Gryphon.“

“Be careful if going here. It looks like they are having real issues with trouble makers, which can happen with any tavern along the river. About 10 days ago they confronted a person outside who refused to pay. That guy pulled a gun on the employee and threatened to shoot them in the head. Look online, you'll see the news story. We went there with another couple anyway for supper aware of the situation that possibly the management wasn't able to keep the trouble out of the place. Within minutes Courtney had our drinks at the table and placed our food orders ... and then some white trash at the bar left out a super loud screech or whistle looking for attention. It was bad. Then he did it again a few minutes later and left. One more time and I'd have gotten involved. The owner needs to hire some beefy enforcement right now to keep a handle on this or the place is going to get a reputation like the Bainbridge Inn as a good place to raise hell and start a fight. NOT date night atmosphere.“

“This bar is such a fun time!! We come here often and the drinks are great and very reasonably priced. The bartender Peyton makes great drinks and and is super nice and attentive- even when it gets busy. Music is great, atmosphere is great, and they have darts!“

“My wife and I had a great meal here about a month ago. Food was good and the waitstaff were friendly. It was busy that night but we were still please with our food. Looking forward to our next trip out. Didn't have a beer because it was back to school night, but next time we'll try something.“
