Fried chicken and back mac is very delicious. They have seafood fries that smelled so good i had to try even though I do not eat seafood and the were amazing and worth the money i paid. My children and baby also loved every bite of their meals which too is fried chicken and mac you just gotta try. I highly suggest the fried chicken

Just ordered from here and it was disappointing, ordered the chicken wings with cabbage and mac and cheese. The cabbage had way too much pepper and the mac was dry, no flavor!!! #neveragain

What a great experience! I read other reviews about how friendly they were and how the food was good. Well it's all that and more. I went with my wife and son last weekend. We were greeted by "mom" as everyone called her and her son and greeted like they meant it because they did. I had fish with mac and cheese and collards. My wife and son had chicken with pineapple chili sauce and collards with potato salad. My wife loved the potato salad which is really high praise. I'll probably always get collards. I was glad they have a small menu One or two people in a small kitchen can't do 30 choices fresh but a half dozen choices with sides was over the top. I felt bad that we sat talking til 20 minutes after closing but we never felt unwelcome. If you're white like us and aren't sure about trying a soul food restaurant then start here. There's no white/black/brown inside their door just warm, wonderful people and lots of good food.

LOL Okay more research to do, definitely getting out and about more! I'd appreciate comments on my reviews good or bad...Review the Reviewer sounds quute interesting as perspectives change! The most difficulty I have is with expectations, doing my best to stay open minded, but dang if some don't just like to test my limits! My boyfriend and I stopped by here on our way to York and we had THE best service and food! The pineapple sauce was to die for and we thoroughly enjoyed chatting with the staff. We left feeling like family! Can’t wait to go back, as there is nothing else quite like The Spot around this area.
