Great place for kids ..especially the ice cream flavors
This is the most amazing place to go to with your fam. It’s a must. Even the lengthy drive. It never gets old doing the T hill experience! And for sure sign up for the make your own flavor! You will love it. It’s extra and it’s worth it. The sampling of their famous teas is one of my faves to do. The attractions like making a video clip and designing your own T hill ice cream label! It’s loads of fun!
The cashier took my credit card for $40 in gas meanwhile someone else pulled up to the pump canceled my sale I have to wait for my 40 bucks till I do a dispute on the credit card now and I didn't get any gas she's acting like it's my fault she shouldn't have put it on there she shouldn't even let me put it on there until I pulled up to the pump she's the big manager but she stuck up for the other girl that canceled my sale on me and I took my 40 bucks and it won't give it back to me
We came here as a family with a three year old and a four year old. The kids had a really great time playing with everything. I didn't realize the code to the game type stuff was on my receipt (wasn't told so by the cashier). So we missed out that. There was a lot ice creams and tea to try and we did he flavor lab to add our own toppings to our ice creams. Overall it was a really fun experience!
I've eaten turkey hill ice cream all my life and it was the best ice cream I ever had. But just recently I wrote to the company and said there's something different about your ice cream it doesn't taste right. And they email me back saying that they did change the ingredients on all their ice cream. I think it's something to do with the gum ingredient. To me the ice cream is disgusting anymore. It's horrible the texture is gummy it's just not right like it used to be. Even my stomach is not right with it and I've tried it three different times after they change the ingredients and my stomach gets upset when I eat it and I love ice cream. So that's telling me it's not good for you. I will not eat there ice cream anymore. You lost a long life customer. It's horrible that these companies are changing their ingredients for profit probably for cost it's just horrible.
Ok stop to learn about Turkey Hill Daries. Geared for younger children, but there is some information on Turkey Hill Dairies, company history, and their operations. The best part is the included Turkey Hill Iced Cream and Turkey Hill drink tasting. But beware of timing as it gets crowded in summer with children and school trips. They do not have a lot of parking available.
1 year ago my husband and I went here for our very first date,
And boy was it ever fun !
We made our own ice cream .
And was cute to see him unleash his inner child .
Fun places for couples , kids, and families !
It's always a nice visit. Doesn't have to be an all-day thing. You can cover the place in a couple of hours, depending on how many kids you're dragging along.
The Taste Lab IS the highlight, though. It's about a 45-minute workshop where you are walked through the steps of how to make your own ice cream flavor using a vanilla base with add-ins and flavoring. Of course, it's your Pint (if that could be smaller) to do as you please, but during our last visit, no lids were available, so we had to eat it there.
Expect lots of children. Most are fine, but always expect the animal or two that think it is fun to sprint through crowded areas.
The elevator is available for those with mobility issues. The attractions are mainly upstairs with the Taste Lab and gift shop on the lower level.
Be aware of when Taste Labs start. They run about every hour starting at 11 or noon. The last one during our visit started at 245pm. The website says to be there 45 minutes early for the lab, but that's nonsense. 10-15 minutes early tops to buy tickets and line up. This is dependent on day and season. Expect longer waits if you're going to visit a Saturday in July during a heatwave.
Main tickets without the Taste Lab does include the sample stalls for both the iced tea and ice cream though. So that's a thing.
Overall worth checking out once In a few years u less you're married to an ice cream addict.
1 Star may be too much. We took our two kids to this 'experience' and were so disappointed. The two kids who were 'in charge' of the experience did not seem to have a clue to what they were doing as they moved people from seat to seat to seat to seat (yep, including us who had our daughter with a walking disability). Then, during the 'experience', the kid talking kept trying to be funny but came off as quite the jerk. He poked fun at my son who was not thrilled, and then, as my son was walking out to use the restroom, the kid said, "Hey, where are you going?" to which my son respectfully replied, "To the bathroom" stirring a laughter from the crowd. My son was embarrassed so we spoke to the manager at the end. While the kid who ran the program may have had good intentions, coming out to the lobby and 'apologizing' to my son in front of other guests was just icing on the cake for this awful experience. Save your money, folks. All you do is mix stuff into vanilla ice cream and you can't even take it with you. A joke!!!
$15 per person for an overpriced, pretty boring experience. To start off the “experience”, the advertised-as-free child ticket is for under 2, not an actual child. Children 13 and under are considered juniors, and are about $13/ticket. Don’t be fooled like I was at the ticket counter when I said my 5 year old was a child, assuming he’d be the free ticket.
Even the staff look extremely bored/annoyed. Enjoy a cheesy 3 minute video and have your appetite for ice cream completely turned off after seeing what the inside of a Turkey Hill factory looks like! Still have an appetite? Surely seeing the multiple mouse traps just steps away from the ice cream samples will fix that. Onto the **cough** unlimited feeding trough ***I mean unlimited samples: select from 5 different tea options and you can even go home with your feet sticking to the floor from the sugary spillage all over. As for the ice cream, there we’re about 8 options to choose from in a poorly designed room where no one knows where to stand or get in line and if you’re lucky, you can stand right in front of the very inconspicuous employee only door and be slammed in the back with a door handle. No dairy-free options. No low-sugar options. No elevators. No hand sanitizer stations.
This was definitely a one-time experience. My 5 year old said it was boring.

The staff here is really nice. I would say even as an adult with no kids there is a lot to do and I was able to spend 2 hours here. I think that everyone should do the make your own ice cream because it's just fun and informative. The free samples of ice cream and sweet to your definitely a plus. This is definitely good more towards kids but there's no reason that you can't have a good time here no matter of age
Drivers load, accept only two hours before your appointment. The shipping is fantastic, people. The company don't let u be in parking lot before than 2 hrs of your appointment. The route it very tight.
I was delightfully surprised with how much there was to do. The kids had a wonderful time. Everything was decorated beautifully. The staff was outstanding! Of course the ice cream was yummy (tea/lemonade too). I discovered a new favorite ice cream flavor while I was there. The story behind their Graham Slam flavor is interesting. We all left smiling and will definitely visit again. In my opinion Turkey Hill is a must see/do "experience" for all ages.
I bought a 1.44 qt fudge ripple and to much of my surprise got no fudge in the container
Although I really like this flavor I’m very hesitant to purchase your brand again
This was a great experience and I would do it again. The double scoop seems to be the best bang for your buck. Free samples at the end no matter what. The taste lab is the best part out of everything. A lot of family friendly activities and sold out taste labs. The tour is self guided but the taste lab is guided by a instructor. Very nice.
