It would be great if they carried biscuits and gravy on the menu. That would draw in customers real fast. It’s comfort food

Friendly staff, reasonable prices, good food. Diner type, american comfort food, leaning towards home cooking..if your home cook is pretty good

This used to be a Go To Dining choice for many. The portions were huge, the food was top quality and the served quickly.
Sadly now, in the post covid scam era, this eatery has stopped opening for or serving Breakfast. That was a slap in the face for many, Many customers.
The food quality has declined noticeably as well and the prices have all increased. So basically, you would pay more money to eat lower quality meals.
The service is still great, friendly and cheerful staff take good care of the patrons.
I still stop in on occasion, the last time I was there I had Haddock (not too good) and a side of baked macaroni and cheese. It was AMAZING!
So, some things are still acceptable and I think people should try this place and judge for themselves. They do offer a few ALL YOU CAN EAT specials on selected evenings.

Very comfortable welcoming environment. Never disappointed with the food or service. Wednesday they have all you can eat chicken pot pie (the real stuff, not meat pie). It is the best pot pie any where!

The atmosphere is perfectly rustic, the shop has really good granola and i recommend trying the butterscotch cookies but-- the veal parmesean made me feel weird.. The veal itself was pretty good considering it was my first time trying it but the tomato sauce that was used was overwhelming and tasted more like artificially flavored paste. 2 days after getting the meal i still have a lingering stomach ache. I dont recommended the pasta at all, but everything else is charming. The cappuccino was alright but at least it came in a cute little boot🤑

A great authentic Americana restaurant! Has an attached gift shop for people that are looking for something with an Amish touch since we are in PA Dutchland. I enjoyed everything from the food to the decor :)

Stopped in for lunch. No wait and was seated quickly. Enjoyed the decorations and Conestoga wagon memorabilia. Menu had a good variety of soups , salads , and all kinds of sandwiches. I had the turkey/bacon wrap. Wrap was tasty and had a lot of meat in it. Employees were very friendly. I will stop again to eat when I go through Conestoga again.
