Excellent choices for this week's specialty menu. We especially loved the accompanying sauces. Delicious!
We had a delicious meal with good service. The noise level ruined the evening and was disappointing.
We had a delicious dinner at Blackfish. Our entrees of tuna and dorado were excellent. (Particularly the tuna - just seared to perfection and nice accompaniment with Brussel sprouts.) The appetizer of smoked salmon was tasty - the hen egg was nice twist. The pink moon oysters were not what we expected - flavors were fine but not sure we'd get again. Overall, the meal was very good with enough choices.
The food and service were outstanding! Didn't 7 course tasting and enjoyed every bite. Highly recommend Blackfish and will be back!
Outstanding meal, probably the best tuna crudo I have ever had. This is special place and the poster child for "neighborhood gem". And a BYO at that. Over 20 years and still going string.
We don't go as much as we used to because frankly, the regular menu is stuck in pause... with the same items and a very narrow set of dessert choices. But when the weekly special catches my eye – like this week's king salmon tasting – we come out and are never disappointed. But it is a lot of food for either of us to consume in a sitting, so I ask, why can't the individual tasting courses find their way to the menu as items that could be ordered standalone. It might reduce what the table brings in as revenue, but at least for us, would bring us out a lot more often. Last note... the tangerine almond cake with Manjari chocolate and toasted coconut is what I'm talking about. One of the best desserts I've ever had there.
Amazing food. I wish the menu was more extensive!

Fantastic experience! I'd have to recommend the oysters and duck was also phenomenal. The food was prepared with thought and was presented beautifully. Jackson, our server, was attentive and informative with a really lovely energy! I will be back!

The food tasted delicious, just perfectly cooked and served at the right temperature. There were enough diverse choices on the menu. The service was impeccable, not too fast, not too slow, friendly and attentive. The price was right. We will be back.
Blackfish is absolutely one of the top restaurants on the main line. The chef is very inventive and the food is never boring. We had a Dover salt tasting, which was fantastic – a Dovers salt chowder, and two different preparations of the fish as well as a dessert. The service is always very nice.

Awesome food, we had dover sole done 3 ways and dessert. All 4 courses perfect. Blackfish will make you forget and remember le bec fin for incredible fine dining. Bring your best wine!
A friend and I went to Blackfish specifically to enjoy their venison special meal. It was beautifully presented and creatively tasteful. The servers were appropriately friendly. I prefer to eat game meat and only wish other restaurants were willing (and able) to encourage patrons to try new dining experiences. I thank Blackfish for enabling us to enjoy an evening of healthy, fine dining.
Ordered the swordfish. Done perfectly in a sauce that complimented it well. The service, as usual, was quietly competent. The dining experience was extremely enjoyable.
Blackfish is a delight and truly a delicious experience. We tried it on a whim and were blown away with the quality of the dishes, immaculate presentation, and fantastic service. Just remember your favorite bottle of wine to enjoy with it as it is BYOB.
Outstanding! Only tiny suggestion would be the music selection - some good jazz or lounge music would be a better fit :)
