Food smelled great and drinks looked yummy. Unfortunately, before we could even grab anything the bartender approached us rather hostile with her words asking us to move, and most definitely wasn’t interested in finding a way for us to enjoy the bar. No problem moving around, but maybe don’t take out your bad day on paying customers. We were just happy to leave before paying/tipping.

Great spot for lunch, has space for a venue (i.e. Baby Showers) and a wine shop. Can't wait to go back for dinner.

Pretty disappointed.
For dinner we had the arancini, the broccoli caesar salad with chicken and the Elm Street Pizza. And complimentary bread.
Starting with the bread, two wedges of what looked like Focaccia but it had too much rise and was pretty dry. Idk if it was over proofed or under hydrated but it missed the mark. It was seasoned with rosemary and thyme I believe, with salt. But it was served with a sweet butter spread that tasted a bit like it was honey butter but also didn't quite make it. Texas Roadhouse has better and it didn't make sense with the savory bread we got.
The appetizer, arancini. The rice was a good texture but otherwise pretty bland. Idk what type of stock they use but it kinda tasted like better than bullion and it was that yellow color you'd expect. No other filing just rice. The coating tasted off, not sure how to explain it. Maybe it was the oil maybe there was something weird in the dredge but just wasn't quite right. And sauce, the guajillo aioli, was not it. Idk about this one either, it left a weird taste in my mouth. Almost like a polymer or something. Wasn't spicy and didn't have any obvious flavors. Again rather bland.
I had the Elm Street Pizza. For the almost $30 you spend on the large, it was wildly underwhelming. Nothing special about all the components. Pesto, cheese, and tomato sauce, nothing really stood out. That pizza was prob worth maybe $5 of ingredients. Idk if any of that was house made. You could tell me it was all jarred sauce and pesto. The crust was good, the pizza was at least cooked with for a Detroit style. The dough had a good texture. Springy, had a good bite, but even that I didn't love. It was salty and heavily buttered. I feel like that was doing a lot of the heavy lifting. The paper it was served on had sucked up a lot of that oil.
The Dean machine salad. Alright but just a glorified broccoli salad, just with a caesar twist. Couldn't put my finger on this one either but even the dressing was off a little bit.
And then we get to the over all price. I spent $110 and nothing was impressive enough to justify that. The pizza was why I wanted to go but that was the most disappointing. It was plain and wildly average especially for the price. That's would feel right at home for $18 at a corner pizza place. Really crazy to charge almost $30 for that. I mean this place is nice looking but the service was slow even tho they were very nice. And the noise, very loud, could barely hear my gf right in front of me. It's like these places always forget about sound dampening.
Conclusion. Unbelievably mid and wildly over priced. Everything was too salty, nothing hit the mark. If I'm spending over $100 at your restaurant without even getting alcohol or dessert, you better be knocking my socks off and this wasn't even close. Expected better.

Amazing food, great service.
Bar Sera is my first choice for a fun but relaxed atmosphere when going out in town. Their bartenders are the best all around in Conshohocken. There’s always an inventive cocktail list, and there’s great wine specials on Monday.
The food is strong too, particularly the appetizers. Two or four people could get the whole app list and hang out for the evening

Had the Detroit pizza, fries and bread. I found the Butter that came with the bread to be a bit too sugary, the fries were great and the pizza was very good. The Beer selection was very much not to my liking.

My fiancé made a reservation here for my birthday. Even the bread and butter was amazing and delicious. Our waiter Kyle, was very attentive and caring to make sure our experience was a great one. It was a very positive environment to enjoy drinks and food. We are so stuffed but everything was top tier.

Okay we knew the food was ridiculously good, but our server Lauren yesterday was SO awesome. IT was my friend's first time - and she asked if Lauren was one of the marketing people because she was so genuine, knowledgeable, and simply just delightful. We had a great experience and can't wait to go back!
PS that hot honey that y'all house make is INSANE.

Bar Sera is the best!! I love the whole Pieri Group of restaurants, best restaurants IN TOWN. Bar Sera is a very fun vibe, awesome farm to table menu. Love the happy hour (4-6 Monday through Friday) - lots of drink options including draft beer and draft wine, cocktail specials, and lots of appetizer options as well. The Detroit style pizza is always DELICIOUS. I also recommend going for lunch! They have so many great salads and sandwiches for lunch. Their head bartender, Red, is usually there for lunch service, and she’s the BEST. All of the bartenders and servers are great though! Bar Sera is where I take my friends out to introduce them to Conshohocken. It’s a great place to start or finish a night. 🙂
