The food is consistently great. But the service here is, without question, is some of the most bizarrely hostile I’ve ever experienced.
The main server seems perpetually angry, treating customers as though we’re inconveniencing him simply by showing up. There’s an air of disdain toward guests that’s so consistent it feels almost intentional.
Then there are the arbitrary “rules” about outdoor dining. Sometimes it’s open, sometimes it’s closed, and the reasoning is entirely dependent on the staff’s mood rather than weather, staffing, or common sense.
The servers consistently roll their eyes, and act annoyed when you order. Great food but the aggression from the staff really lower the value

This cute Lil spot was a treat. I visited in a group of 4 and we were seated and ordered quickly. We could connect to the music and enjoy oldies but goodies. Food took a while and our waitress got a bit distracted. Eventually, the food came out and was very tasty. I AM willing to come again. No pics this time.

The food was enjoyable overall. I had the sushi, which was fresh and well-prepared. The poutine and fried chicken were decent as well. Service was attentive throughout. With a few minor improvements to the food, it could easily reach a 5/5.

This place has been a staple and a pillar in the community for a long time. The staff, food and patrons are solid. To McLahan's comment on 'too loud, take the noise elsewhere'. There are plenty of 55 and older communities in the area, which may suit you better. Take yourself elsewhere and try running and owning a business.

Do you like bars? What about loud bars? You single? Come meet people at Guppy's. I sadly am far too old to be there on a Saturday night but the beer was cold and I found this really nice quiet upstairs area that I'm not sure was open to the public but it was an oasis from bros. I think this is a great local bar. It gets really packed on Saturday nights.
