Southern Cross Kitchen Reviews
Took my husband here to celebrate his birthday. I started off with the fried green tomato tower, all the different flavors was like a party in my mouth. Next I had the lemon, dill salmon, I'm not a huge fan of asparagus but that was nicely cooked and tasted good. A nice size homade biscuit and jam. My husband had the smoked mac n cheese, the catfish po boy and spinach. The spinach was nicely seasoned and tasted so fresh. This was our first time here and we will definitely be...read full review
This place is a great spot for brunch! My friend told me about this great brunch spot so I had to try it. Their biscuit board was so good, the mimosa’s were the perfect mix, and the food was on point. Kevin is the acting manager and he always made sure that we were happy and well taken care of. All the staff is friendly which made it a fun atmosphere to dine it, plus I love the throw back music. This was a perfect addition to my Sunday, I will definitely be back!
Used to Love SCK until today! We got a take out order…..raw food and missing items. The manager spoke to us as if we were stupid and refunded $9 on a $50 order that we did not even get to enjoy! No goat cheese, no avocado, no maple butter and raw eggs!! 🤮 we understand mistakes happen but our food was bad!! the least that could have been done is offer for us to come back to get the correct items!! Extremely rude! We are disappointed!

Southern Cross Kitchen offers delicious food and top-tier service, making it a great spot for Southern-style cooking. They cater events flawlessly, featuring perfect southern-inspired menus. The short rib nachos are a must-try, and the open-faced biscuit sandwich is also delicious. Their house-infused Bloody Mary is perfect for brunch. The Kentucky Derby event was a huge hit, with great decorations, mint Julep, and attentive staff. The staff is very accommodating, especially for group gatherings and special events, with helpful planning and setup. The upstairs event rooms are available for private parties, and the staff ensures everything runs smoothly, from decorations to service. The food is consistently exceptional, well-seasoned, and prepared perfectly, including fried catfish with sun-dried tomato orzo and coleslaw, marinated steak tips with asparagus risotto, and fried green tomato BLT with fries. Appetizers like hush puppies, southern biscuit tray, and smoked gouda mac and cheese are also highly praised. Although service can sometimes be slow, the welcoming atmosphere and lively environment make it suitable for both small dinners and large parties. From fried chicken to catfish and okra gumbo, Southern Cross Kitchen delivers fantastic food and memorable experiences.
