We had our son's wedding rehearsal dinner in the event rooms upstairs. Everything turned out beautifully. We had the whole upstairs to ourselves, including the bar. I worked with Kevin Markee who is excellent and so accommodating. He was so helpful with planning our event and with recommendations for the menu. He allowed me to drop off our decorations early and had them all set up when we arrived for the rehearsal dinner. The food was delicious and everyone had a great time. I would highly recommend booking Southern Cross Kitchen for your next event or just for a meal. Great experience.

I can't say more positive things about Southern Cross Kitchen! The GM Kevin did a great job accommodating our group of about 30 kids and adults post-soccer event in their 2nd floor seating area/bar. The staff was attentive, the service was smooth and the food was delicious. Highly recommend for group gatherings!

The food was exceptional! Every dish was well seasoned and prepared perfectly. In the posted pics are the fried catfish served with sun dried tomato orzo and coleslaw, the next is the marinated steak tips with an asparagus risotto and the last dish was the fried green tomato blt with fries. In the pic of the catfish, you can kinda see the order of hush puppies we got as an appetizer. Not pictured is the southern biscuit tray and the smoked gouda mac and cheese appetizers. All of which were equally amazing. This is our 2nd time here and we loved it as much as the first. Well worth the price and you won't be disappointed.

They had a refreshing drink, and delicious shrimp and grits. The sides of biscuit with maple butter as well as the jalapeño cornbread were spot on.
They have live music sometimes too apparently!

EXQUISITE! From the service to the food and drinks, everything was absolutely amazing. We went to try the food in preparation for my best friend’s bridal shower. Kevin and Marquise have been assisting us since January and have been fantastic to work with. Communication was seamless, they were flexible and knowledgeable, and they made us feel truly appreciated and heard throughout the planning process.
This experience meant so much to me because, in recent years, I’ve watched the quality of service and food decline dramatically—often with an expensive price tag attached. I stopped going out because of it. But the staff at Southern Cross went above and beyond, and the food was phenomenal. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. The mac and cheese was the highlight (and I consider myself a mac and cheese connoisseur) – it was perfect. The shrimp and grits, chicken and waffles, brisket, jalapeño cornbread, and biscuits were all incredible. I could go on and on.
Thank you so much for everything, Kevin, Marquise, and our server, Grace! We had an amazing time and can’t wait to come back!

Last night, Tuesday, my partner and I had an absolutely incredible dining experience, thanks in large part to our server, Luke. He was hands down the best server we've ever had. From the moment we sat down, Luke made us feel like family – genuinely warm, attentive, and incredibly welcoming. Luke's professionalism, friendly demeanor, and excellent service truly elevated our evening. We'll definitely be back, and we'll certainly be asking for Luke!
