Should train the bartenders not to allow intoxicated guest to run a bar tab up to 3 k, They clearly do not respect their patrons. Took advantage of a good friend and child
We had a reservation for 2 at 7:30pm on Tuesday, February 16. We were seated by 7:25. A waitress did not show until 7:50 or later. It was not a busy night and there were multiple servers helping other guests. Once out waitress showed up we ordered basic margaritas and apps. Our apps, shrimp ceviche and the mango guac came within minutes of ordering and were absolutely delicious. However, our drinks never arrived. After sitting there for 40 mins without a drink on a night that was not busy, celebrating a belated Valentine's Day, we had enough and asked for the bill. The waitress was apologetic and did not charge us anything. Again, the food that we did have was excellent. We sensed it was an individual server issue not a service issue as everyone was very friendly and our apps came super quick. We will try again and hope we don't have the same server.
Food and service were outstanding but they were trying to start a fire in the fireplace and the room was filled with smoke and they had the door open so the room was freezing. Management did not seem to care.
I visited Coyote Crossing for the first time. The food was amazing. We ordered guacamole & steak and shrimp fajitas. The restaurant was really fun. Our server was really nice. I would absolutely come back here. A couple things that will inform future visits. One of the great thing about their food is that they smoke it. This also means an incredibly strong smoke filled restaurant that permeated my hair and clothes and made it almost difficult to stay there. I would wait till it is warm and sit outside only. Lastly, the price. My lunch was $100 for one guacamole and two fajita orders. No alcoholic drinks even. While wonderful this seemed really high.
Four out of six of us found the food to be salty. Two items (Mahi Taco and Flan) had to be sent back as not being very good. Some items were good (the Duck Quesadilla and Duck Enchiladas) The beef burrito was salty and the meat not tender. The Pork Belly tasted good, but needed to be more tender.
Food was absolutely delish!! Came here with my husband and two kids and they all enjoyed their meals! Definitely on the spicier side so just be careful when giving kids ( not from the kids menu) . The spicy margarita was so good. Will definitely return without the kids ha!
Food and ambience were great. It was a Saturday and we definitely felt we were being "rushed" a little bit, but overall we really liked it. Will definitely go back again!
My husband I had an early(7pm) new years eve dinner outside at Coyote Crossing. It was beautiful and warm with the heaters on. No crowds! The Don Margarita was fabulous as always!! Queso fundo and guacamole were great. Our dinners were good, too. The service was exceptional. ILOVE THIS PLACE!!!! what a great end to 2021 and start of 2022.
The food was good, but the service was poor. I requested an outdoor table due to COVID precautions, and since it was cold outside, my table asked if we could have another heater. The waitress said they only provide one heater per table, even though we were the only party sitting outside. I felt like we had been forgotten about multiple times during our dining experience, as the check-ins from the waitress were sparse.
It was colder than expected so we decided to eat inside instead of outside and they were very accommodating. Our server could not have been nicer or more helpful. She was attentive without feeling like we were being rushed. Enjoyed the food as always.

I haven't been here in years but decided to stop back in for dinner. The food is good, but just good, nothing was particularly exceptional or would knock your socks off. it's not the kind of place that you would go back to because there is some special dish, unless I missed it. I think it's just the kind of place you go to because it's in the neighborhood, the food is decent, you like the atmosphere, etc. it's not a foodie place. it's just a decent restaurant.
Glad they have heated outdoor seating for the winter. Would go back to be able to enjoy dinner with friends outside. Food was mediocre for the cost and the service was pretty terrible.
We had a reservation as well as other guests and still had to wait about 20 mins for our table. We were a party of 3. Another party of 3 came in after 10 mins of us waiting. They didn't have a reservation but were seated right away. It was very unorganized. But the food was really good and our servers were very accommodating.
Second time here. Disappointing. Service was poor. Our food did not come out at the same time and no one even checked on us. Rice tasted like instant microwave style. Fajitas were ok. Had more vegetables than meat. Chips were authentic. It is overpriced. I don't mind paying high prices if the service and food is up to par. Neither was. We were sat near a large birthday party which wasn't a problem but the loudness of the foul language and profanity of their conversation was unpleasant. Highlight was finding a parking spot in the lot on a cold night because the parking situation is horrible!
I can't say enough about how much I love this place! I was here over this past weekend for my birthday and the entire experience was nothing but excellent. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable and very nice. The food was delicious like usual and the margaritas were amazing. I always know if I want yummy Mexican food this is the place to go. I would highly recommend it to anyone.
