The atmosphere hums with confidence, helped in no small part by Lauren behind the bar-warm, sharp, and effortlessly elevating the experience with every pour. The blackened pork chop is a true showstopper: bold, beautifully cooked, and unforgettable, while the chicken piccata delivers that ideal balance of comfort and polish. We arrived at 3:30 PM. Google showed the place opened at 11 AM. Staff told us the kitchen did not open until 4 PM. No notice. No sign. No explanation.
We waited. The bartender complained on the phone about another employee being late while we stood there. The whole thing felt unprofessional.
At 4 PM the front desk staff finally seated us. She immediately told us we had to leave by 5:30 PM because they had another reservation. Her tone was hard and unnecessary. It felt like a warning, not information. We had already been waiting for an hour.
The worst part is this: By 5:30 PM we were the only table seated in the entire room. Ten to fifteen open tables. Nobody else eating. If they had a party coming later, fine, but threatening customers at the door over timing when the place is empty is unacceptable.
When I asked to start with an appetizer, the server told me she had to enter the entire order at once. No appetizer first. No flexibility. We had waited long enough and were hungry, yet they still refused.
Food was mixed. Pierogies were excellent. Crab dip tasted old. Chicken cutlet was great. Pasta was not.
Staff attitude and workflow ruined the visit. Disorganized. Rigid rules. Poor communication. Zero hospitality.
I will not return. I do not recommend this place. The food is not worth dealing with the service.

We walked into the Gypsy last night really to just have a cocktail. However, the amazing aroma's emitting from the kitchen and dining room made us hungry immediately.the place was buzzing with such a great vibe and energy that we felt we needed to be a part of. The staff and owner came work, extremely inviting and pleasant, even though they were very busy. Our service, the meals and the overall feel of the night was was absolutely fantastic. We both enjoyed our chicken entrées that we could cut with our forks and then were literally melting in our mouth. Thank you to the entire team at Gypsy for such a great dining experience. See you soon.

We went there last minute. My first time there. Place was packed and lively. My chicken dish was tremendous and flavorful. One of the most tender pieces of chicken I’ve ever had. The calamari appetizer also was outstanding. Can’t wait to go back. Service was also very good despite the place being so crowded.
