“Sunday our last day in the forest we stopped on our way home to grab something to eat and a milkshake. Only serving ice cream. So we got our milkshakes and my sister said I would like the homestyle boneless bites and I said make it a double. The girl said both homestyle? We said yes, no Buffalo it's too hot. She said ok, Homestyle double order. I asked how long she said 5 minutes. We got 1 milkshake, another girl was trying to figure out how to make the other 2 milkshakes, 3 people are all served we are still waiting.Finally our 2 milkshakes are done the girl doesn't fill them to the top like they always are. She took what was left in the cup poured it in another cup it looked to be 2, to 2 and 1/2 inches went and put whipped cream on and came out put a scoop of ice cream on top and took it to the back for herself. So she basically took the milkshake that was supposed to be in our cup and kept it for herself. She even looked at us a few times and never said anything. 15 minutes later we get handed a double order of Buffalo. I said it's supposed to be homestyle. She just stared at me and I said look at the paper. She does she says OK 5 more minutes. I said don't forget it's a double order. OK yeah, She says. 15 minutes later, 1 order of homestyle. I said it's supposed to be 2. Another girl said I was only told to make 1. I said you know what? Just give me my money back I have to get on the road. She just stares at me and says OK. Then she goes and starts making ice cream for another customer. What's going on here? I have come here for years and this is the first time I had to deal with this. So I walk to the order window and asked again for my money back. She hesitated and then gave me my money back for the one order we didn't receive. What a nightmare. $6.67 for a milkshake that wasn't completely full and wrong chicken order. 3 different people total choas. 1 should have been making chicken, 1 should have been taking ice cream orders and 1 should have been doing the ice cream. Sheesh.”

“My mother and I came up on Friday for the gingerbread tour and stayed the night until the next day. We had dinner at the Clarion River Lodge as well as breakfast on Sat. morning. Our waiter on Friday evening for dinner was great and Eric the chef came out and spoke with me about my gluten allergies and what he would be able to make me to eat. He was great on the recommendations. We came back the next morning for breakfast and Eric came out again to tell me what he can make me. even though we arrived a little after 10:00 in the morning , we were the only ones there which was great and my compliments to the chef! Our waitress that morning was very sweet. The only thing that I recommend is making the coffee a little stronger. When I had breakfast, my coffee was pretty watered down. Other than that, no complaints. Love the atmosphere and all the rustic decor. I would love to be able to stay at the lodge here in the near future.”

“My wife and I visited the Shamrock Room this evening for dinner, on this late winter Saturday night. James was our waiter. He was very polite and mindful to care for us for the entirety of our visit. We ordered an appetizer of Deep Fried Mushrooms and soft drinks. While waiting for our appetizer, I reflected upon a few memories that I had of the restaurant, and observed what may have changed or remained the same in the room. (My family has a Camp just outside of town and has visited the Camp for 3 to 4 seasons per year for decades). The atmosphere was comfortable, with music playing over the speakers. The Fried Mushrooms seemed fresh and cooked to our liking. The Ranch dipping sauce was thick and creamy - delicious! James brought us our main courses in a very reasonable timeframe. My Trophy Burger was excellent, very juicy and cooked "medium" as requested. I would definitely order this burger again. My wife ate a Buffalo Chicken Sandwich, and added lettuce, tomato, and onion, while the buffalo sauce was served on the side. She said hers was also very good. We both chose Fresh Cut Fries as our side, which were not mushy and great with Hines and a little salt. Thank you, Kelly Hotel!”

“Our food was delicious and the service was great. Our server brought coloring books and crayons for our kids and the outside bartender offered buckets and shovels for them to play in the gravel. Great time!”

“Both the wife and I got steak and shrimp. The food was good, and the waitress was excellent.. my only complaint was the steak. Though it was cooked properly, and had good taste, both steaks looked unappealing, no grill or sear marks. Looked broiled, which isn't our preference, or it would have been a 5 star meal.”

“We have been there several times with no complaints until today. We ordered our drinks and food at the same time. 15 minutes later still no drinks. I had to chase the waitress down to ask for them. $26 for a steak salad with cold steak and fries. I had to pick out the olives I asked not to have. We also got apple dumplings to go that were awful. The waitress said she would put the sauce for the dumplings in a separate container. When we got home, we discovered she didn't. Thumbs down today.”

“This is THE BEST Fox's Pizza Den EVER. They shouldn't even be affiliated with Fox's. They're way too good for that. My camp is in Leeper, PA and we ordered a buffalo chicken pizza from this location and it was literally the best buff chick pizza EVER. I came home and ordered the same thing from the Fox's in Lower Burrell, PA, and it doesn't compare. Doesn't even come close.”
