Went for the first time tonight for takeout. We usually go to another Mexican place in Coopersburg but wanted to try something more authentic and family-owned. We got the chicken al pastor and the pork al pastor tacos and a side of the refried beans and the food was EXCELLENT! The quality and flavor of the food was amazing and the home-made tortillas were incredible. We already are talking about what we will try at our next visit.

I consider myself something more than a mexican cucine amateur or enthusiast because of my exposure to the Mexican culture since the day I was born. My leisure is to visit Mexican restaurants everywhere I go. This time I visited this restaurant, it was past lunchtime, it was the way I liked it, humble, simple and with a home vibe. I was greeted by the owner, who had a little girl on his arm,it felt I walked into his home. We started chatting about his heritage and sharing the love we have for mexican food and his culture. I ordered "Enchiladas en mole poblano" and then a mexican soup called "pozole." I want to start saying that here they make they own corn tortillas on premises, which makes a big difference. Everything feels right, and it tastes amazingly homemade, like made by grandma. I strongly recommend this place if you want to eat something authentic with an outstanding respect for a consumer palate, come and experience for yourself.

I've passed by this place to/ from work and always wanted to stop. Well, tonight my husband and I did and we are so glad we did. The restaurant is family -run and is warm and charming inside. The service as well is warm and friendly. The food is delicious and authentic. My husband got the pork tacos which were stuffed almost to overflowing. He said the pork was tender and tasty. I got the combo special of 2 flatuas with chorizo and 2 chicken enchiladas with refried beans, rice and pico de gallo. It was delicious ! What a special place. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to excellent authenic mexican food made and served by a lovely family. We are already looking forward to our next meal there. Parking is easy and they also have outside seating. The menu offers many interesting and delicious sounding options. Many thanks !

The best food I've ever eaten a 10 out of 10
Had lunch here with 2 others. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. They made me a special dish since I'm a vegetarian. I would certainly return.
Vegetarian options: They will make modifications for vegetarians.

This is the first time we had been to this restaurant, since only recently opened. We ordered takeout. Two chicken and two steak tacos. $12.95 sounded a little expensive for two tacos, but I thought I would try it.It turned out that we were pleasantly surprised. They are not like the tacos you get at other places with a scant amount of filling in the bottom of the fold. It was more like a cross between a taco and a Gyro. So the tortillas were completely filled, and if you didn’t eat them wrapped up the contents would fall out. Each one had a unique taste. This is no assembly line food. Each one is handcrafted. The chicken taco with the pineapple and guacamole worked well together. The steak taco with the potatoes and jalapeños similarly.I would recommend this place and I think the food is not only a good value But also offers unique cuisine. I can’t wait to go back and try some of the other items on the menu.

I looked at the menu before coming and was like "$15 for 2 tacos? I don't know." But the name grabbed me and I thought it had to be authentic. It didn't disappoint. The tortillas were hand made and each was about 2/3 the size of a burrito I would pay $15 for. Not only that but they were packed with meat, where the burrito would likely have beans and rice and potentially other "filter" (which I like in my burritos). Also, eating in gets you a free agua fresca. Not in the least disappointed. It was authentic (I'm from LA), the carnitas were very tender, everything was well seasoned. We will be back!
