So, they definitely have a great location and the decor is fun, it’s a cool spot to stop in and the whole “going out for ice cream” vibe is part of the draw. But honestly my personal experience is the ice cream itself has been pretty mediocre, just on par with supermarket ice cream and there are a couple store brands I’d rather just grab from the freezer aisle, especially for the cost. I get it that the outing itself is part of the attraction, but compared to other places (a stellar example mentioned above) where you can really taste that handcrafted element, Inside Scoop just doesn't hit the same. I don’t know what ingredients those other shops use, but to me they’re worth the trip if you want something genuinely sensational and not in the same basic ballpark quality as grocery store stuff. Also, out of the 4–5 times I’ve been here, most visits felt like I was interrupting high school conversations just to place an order or even make a quick update to my order. IDK maybe that’s normal now, but it came across unprofessional and like there wasn’t much supervision going on.

I don’t get the hype. The ice cream is mediocre at best. You don’t need a gimmick (the statue), if your product can stand on its own. I threw in the extra star because I like the retro vibe of the place.

The ice cream is very good and depending on what you order, you'll get a good portion. They also have a water pitcher and cups that you can get a free drink from. The interior is very nice with the retro decor. The one thing I will say is that their prices are a bit up there. Still a great place to go for an occasional treat and a classic experience.
I absolutely love their ice cram and have been a customer for years. They have so many delicious flavors and it's so creamy and fresh. I'm giving it 4 stars however for two reasons. More recently, the flavor offers haven't been a good as in the past and there are many weeks when it seems to be a bunch of the same flavors rather than the varieties they used to offer. Also, the portions have become much smaller. We went last night and the waffle come didn't even have soft ice cream to the top. I also had to ask for whipped cream in a sundae, which comes with whipped cream. Last week we purchased a quart that was more like a few scoops rather than pushed in like a quart normally was. Not sure if this is a training issue or if they are trying to save money. In the end they do have delicious ice cream.

I can not thank you enough for making our visit a great one!! We didn't realize until after we ordered that there was an ability to taste test unique flavors and my daughter went all in on a choice she quickly realized was way too sweet for her liking...I gave her my card but made her go up and explain on her own her rash decision making and the team behind the counter were so nice to her helping her rectify her bad teenage decision and public embarrassment ;) and left her with a huge smile. Thank you for understanding and being so helpful!! Side note, TIP your servers well and good karma definitely comes though💕🙌

This past weekend we had a birthday party at the Inside Scoop for my 6 year old son and everyone had a blast! Our server Demi was AMAZING🤩 She kept all of the kids entertained with a craft, games, and a tour of the kitchen which the kids loved. We topped the party off with a Sundae bar where all of the kids got to select their own ice cream flavor. Would highly recommend for your next birthday party! 🥳
