We had a lovely early date night this evening at Limeport Inn. Colleen, our waitress, was all we could ask for; pleasant, timely and clearly knew the menu. Even more impressive was the busser, Logan. What an impressive young man! He never missed a beat from bread to moving furniture to removing dishes. And to top it off, he had a personality!! He sets the bar high for other young people working a part-time job. Whoever trained him did an excellent job.

Lovely place for date night! The inside has a classic olde inn feel while the outdoor seating has a lovely mossy rock water feature and is covered so you don't have to worry about the sun in your eyes. The food was tasty and well made, and we would definitely recommend it.

We stopped in around 8:30pm and they close at 9pm. They did not hesitate to seat us or take our order. We tried ordering take out at another local restaurant and they wouldn’t take our order at 7:30pm on a Tuesday. Alternatively we ended up at the Limeport Inn today and we are very happy about it. Angela was amazing and quite honestly everyone working there was very pleasant. The Filet Mignon was incredible and the coconut rice was my favorite. Even the dessert was very good. We will be coming back.

Limeport sliding on service
I feel like the food has been off lately there. nothing special for the price. Last time eating there, the server brought over 4 glasses and set them stacked faced down and said here are your water glasses then brought over a pitcher and said we could fill them. I think that is a restaurant basic. Like Day 1 training. Outside seating they take you to had bird poop all over the chairs. Either way, hopefully they can tighten up their service in the future as inside has a nice homey feel.
Excellent place for lunch and dinner. We love their food. Cocktails are always consistent. Great specials and you've got to check out their personal pizzas.
We'll be back soon to enjoy the patio.
The Limeport Inn is an absolute hidden gem—a beautiful and charming throwback to the kind of classic, distinctive restaurants that are becoming all too rare these days. From the moment you arrive, you’re welcomed by a warm, intimate, and rustic atmosphere that feels like a step back in time—in the best possible way. The gorgeous outdoor patio adds to the charm and makes it perfect for any season.
It’s easy to see why this place is so popular with regulars—it has a ‘Cheers’-like vibe where everyone feels welcome, and the sense of community is palpable.
The entire experience is top-notch—from the food and drinks to the outstanding service and ambiance. The menu is consistently excellent, offering great value without compromising on quality. If you go on a weekend, the Prime Rib is a can't-miss—always cooked to perfection and incredibly satisfying.
The staff is another standout feature. They’re genuinely friendly, attentive, and make the experience feel personal and memorable. Fawn has served us on multiple occasions and continues to impress—she's warm, welcoming, professional, and an absolute pleasure to interact with every time. Angela was our server most recently, and she was equally wonderful. After just a few visits, the team starts to recognize you, adding a warm, personal touch that makes you want to keep coming back.
With its rich history (circa 1842), The Limeport Inn isn’t just a restaurant—it’s an experience. If you haven’t been yet, it’s truly a must-visit. And once you go, chances are you’ll be planning your return visit before you even leave.
Always a great date night experience, especially when the patio is open

Nice St Patrick’s Day gathering
Truly a hidden gem in the little village of Limeport, PA (near Allentown)! Full of history, character and charm with a cozy, warm, feel. We will be back any time we're in the area!
Intimate, charming, cosy atmosphere. Both customers and service staff give this inn the most homey feeling. The food is excellent. Had prime rib and mashed potatoes and it was the finest ever! You have to make a reservation with such service there is a long list of dedictated clientele. Great atmosphere for family and individuals.
The Limeport is a gem! The entire experience is top notch the food , Service and atmosphere. If you haven’t been it’s a MUST visit. And you’ll be back for more! A lot of history as well. Circa 1824 I believe.
Better hope Missy is bartending when you visit! She has honest food recommendations, makes a great Manhattan and is fun to talk with. The grilled cheese and ribeye is a great sandwich.
