This was my first visit since the renovation. Unfortunately, the updates make the dining area feel dull and overly gray, and the lobby now has more of a corporate chain restaurant vibe. That said, I came for the food—not the atmosphere.
Our server was very professional and attentive, and all of the food was served in a timely manner. The wedding soup was decent. We started with the stuffed banana peppers, and the sauce, cheese, and sausage combination was excellent. While the peppers themselves weren’t very tender and were a bit difficult to cut, I would still recommend the appetizer.
The portion sizes for the entrées were enormous. The Penne alla Vodka with shrimp was delicious, though I would have preferred traditional shrimp instead of butterfly shrimp. If you enjoy manicotti, I’d also recommend it—it was very tasty. The meatballs were tender and flavorful, highly recommend.

Veal parmagian made the way it's supposed to be made. Prefer pasta al'dente and was a smidge over but that's subjective. Will request no chick peas on salad but very good mixed greens and house dressing with other appropriate veggies. Generous amount of good bread.

I Do Not Understand This Terrific Restaurant Only Having A 4.4 Rating Review. Literally Everything Was Perfect. Excellent/Correctly Made (With Escarole) Wedding Soup. Excellent/Correctly Made (With Brisket) Reuben. Perfect Service. Restrooms & Entire Environment Very Clean.

My husband and I have been dining here for 25+ years and it is one of our favorite places. The food is always excellent with large portions, service is always wonderful, the desserts are amazing, but we do not love the atmosphere since the remodel - it feels smaller and more closed in now, sitting right up against the tables beside you. We just dined here yesterday and it was very crowded, the wait was about 40 minutes with very limited seating in the lobby area, so most people were standing and the area was very full. The service and food were wonderful as always though. I had the lobster bisque and the Penne Ala Vodka with shrimp which both came in a very large portion and they were excellent. We have tried most of the menu at this point and never found anything we didn't care for, just truly delicious food. I definitely recommend this place but if you go in the evening, be prepared for a wait and keep in mind that they close at 8pm - we arrived at 6pm and we weren't out of there until 8pm. They were turning away larger parties while we were waiting because they wouldn't have had seating for them before they close, so try to go early, especially if you have a larger party.

I haven’t been there in years since the remodel, but it looks amazing! The food is still as great as I remember! The service and food is top notch. It was a busy night, but we didn’t have any delay in our meal. The manager stated that it’s usually quicker, and gave us free dessert for the inconvenience! Definitely coming back anytime we’re around Moon, highly recommend! We got the buffalo chicken calzone and Cajun chicken and it was excellent!
If I could give 0 stars I would the service was terrible. We put our name in at 6pm we were told 30 minutes we showed up at 6:30 to be told it was going to be another 25-30 minutes we waited a minimum of 45 minutes and watched at least 7 parties go ahead of us. The hostess told us several times that we were next on the list so after waiting for an hour and a half we finally left. Things like this make me not want to return.

my wife was out of town, so I had to get takeout for my daughter and I. I ordered penne à la vodka with chicken, a grilled chicken salad, fries on the side and an order of meatballs. It was delicious and my daughter had enough to take to work for lunch the next day. I love Armstrong‘s and I’m so glad they’re open. I can’t wait to go back again.
