Horrible, everything
Great place for breakfast. Love the breakfast potatoes! Excellent service as well. Definitely recommend this place.
This is a small town diner with big city taste š Weāve been wanting to stop down there. And we finally had a chance today to give it a trial run.
When we went in at lunchtime, there were several tables, some business people, some local workers, some individuals and couples. Not overly crowded. But weāre 10 days out from SnowMageddon so a lot of people still arenāt coming out because parking is tight.
I am quite a soup snob. Finding decent soup is really tough in Pittsburgh. But Iāve been drooling over their menus and hot sausage chowder just called out to me. Truly, I think I heard the angels singing as they brought me a bowl. It was chock full of Italian sausage and vegetables. Youāre gonna swear it was cheesy, but I donāt think it was. It was just really good. And I did something that you canāt do in do in a lot of restaurants. I asked our server for a little bit of bread to go with it. I didnāt want a sandwich. I just wanted some bread and they were glad to bring me bread. One slice of Italian and one slice of marble rye. Youāre not getting that anywhere else š
My hubs asked for a hot sausage hoagie. But it appears that all the hot sausage that they had went into the soup 𤣠so he had to pick something else and went with a chicken sandwich with fries. As you can see, it was served on a Mancini roll. The chicken breast was covered in red and green peppers and onions, all sautéed, but still with bite to them. And melted cheese on top. It was a substantial sandwich but he made fast work of it. And the fries reminded him of the homemade fries of his youth. That is reason enough to stop by.
Diners donāt just need your support, they deserve your support. A good diner? The food is fresh. When they run out, they run out. But you know what youāre getting is fresh and tasty. They know their customers. They know their food. And you can still find the owner working behind the counter at lunchtime š
We will be back. Thereās more soup to try and my husbandās still hankering for that hot sausage hoagie. I see a breakfast in our future. And that dog friendly patio is on our list!!!

Went in for lunch and the service/food was amazing! Staff were attentive and really fun to talk to. Ordered the BLT (on Manciniās, of course) and fries with gravy. Next time will be sure to try the soup- the white chicken chili looked so good but I didnāt leave any room for it lol.

What a perfect little breakfast diner. A gem. A little more expensive than one would expect, but please know it's worth the quality. I stopped in for a casual working lunch with my laptop - don't do that, go in for a nice meal and order something nice. That being said, my basic breakfast special, was still excellent. Some of the finest home fries I have ever tried, best drop coffee of any diner EVER.
I cannot wait to come here for a nice sandwich or the delicious sounding eggs Benedict. Again, I strongly recommend as a nice weekend breakfast spot.

Good experience. Great coffee and quick and friendly service. Prices were a bit higher than I expected for a small town cafe, but I would be open to visiting again as every other aspect of the restaurant was great.

This place definitely makes a great omelet. I got the meat lovers. I was getting hole bites of meat. It was loaded up. The guy next to me got I think the farmer omelet. That thing was loaded too. I didn't get the potatoes or bread because I didn't want the carbs. But they looked fantastic. They looked almost like I thick potato fry but thinner. I'm sure they were delicious. Place is very clean. They were right on top of everything with their service too.

So I got sausage gravy over biscuits. I figured, that's a pretty good base to start for a breakfast spot. Nice simple, should be delicious. Had no flavor and was hot in spots like a microwave, willing to bet it's not made in house. If I go back I won't order that again. As for the service
The waitress seemed more distracted by a child and possibly a significant other. I ate quickly and left.
