My wife and I ate here for the first time on 6/15/2022 around 2:30 pm for lunch! I got the triple delight with fried rice and the portion was about normal size for a chinese rest. and was good! My wife got chicken with mixed vegetables and was good also! Place is very small and quaint and lunch prices are alot cheaper than dinner! Give this place a try if you are in Moon Twp.! --LARS !

Hunan used to be the best Asian restaurant in Moon Township (really, the best in the west hills of Pittsburgh). Today, the food is usually overcooked, the service in the dining room is awful and the delivery usually brings ice cold meals that require reheating. My family was lifelong customers until last year when our delivery arrived and it was not even our order. On top of that, two of the five meals were RAW. It was also at this time that I was eating lunch with a client and the waiter dumped his tray of 7 ice cold waters all over me. I did not receive an apology or even my meal for free. I tell everyone I can not to spend their money at Hunan.
Everyone who works here is so kind. It’s a great cozy place to have lunch or dinner by yourself or with family. The food is great and always fresh.

First time here and was not disappointed. Flavorful wonton soup and egg rolls that weren't greasy. Ordered the shrimp fried rice, chicken/shrimp with brocolli and Szchewan beef. So good with enough food for leftovers. Will be back.

I work out of town and I'm staying about a mile away from here, and there for a while I was eating this place 3xs a week back in 19' before covid.. the owners are so sweet and friendly and im back in town and they remembered me as I stopped for takeout a few times here and there. My go-to is the chicken lo-mein, egg rolls, steamed dumplings, and rice
