Hit the spot after a long day of walking! Egg roll was nice and crispy, wonton soup super tasty, and the beef lo mein was very flavorful! The owners were very friendly too!

I so wanted to like this restaurant. It was awkward from beginning to end. Awkward silence inside. No music, no ambiance. Could hear other couple's conversation if I was sitting with them. Found prices to be high considering the very small portion size for dinner. General Tso's chicken was hard and not fresh. White rice was stale. It was like eating in a hospital cafeteria setting...sterile and not very welcoming. Older lady would like to upcharge everything if she could. She kept complaining to the other couple that she had to work on July 4th. Save your time, stomach, and money. Go elsewhere. A very odd dining experience. I won't be back.

Great little restaurant, and very friendly service! Our food was delicious! I have to personally recommend the General Tso’s Chicken, it is a great recipe not too sweet not too spicy. It is one of the best I have ever had. From their prices to portion size, 5/5! Check them out if you’re in town!
My wife and I ate here for the first time on 6/15/2022 around 2:30 pm for lunch! I got the triple delight with fried rice and the portion was about normal size for a chinese rest. and was good! My wife got chicken with mixed vegetables and was good also! Place is very small and quaint and lunch prices are alot cheaper than dinner! Give this place a try if you are in Moon Twp.! --LARS !

I really like this place. I get the Szechuan chicken and it's always good. The chicken and the vegetables are cooked just right and the sauce is fantastic. The people there are nice and the prices are amazing. This is my go to for Chinese take out. Love it!

Hunan used to be the best Asian restaurant in Moon Township (really, the best in the west hills of Pittsburgh). Today, the food is usually overcooked, the service in the dining room is awful and the delivery usually brings ice cold meals that require reheating. My family was lifelong customers until last year when our delivery arrived and it was not even our order. On top of that, two of the five meals were RAW. It was also at this time that I was eating lunch with a client and the waiter dumped his tray of 7 ice cold waters all over me. I did not receive an apology or even my meal for free. I tell everyone I can not to spend their money at Hunan.
