Always incredible, most genuine and authentic Mexican food in this city imo. Highly suggest the quesadillas and getting all the marinated meats from inside the store you can afford. Everything is FIRE

It’s similar to Las Palmas over by Dormont except the Mexicans hang out here more and I like that a bit more bc you also get the culture with the food.

It’s a good spot for a quick stop.

I go here for there tacos and Jarritos. Only thing I don't like about the tacos is the corn wraps. I prefer flower wraps. Otherwise I'd give 5 stars for food.

Fairly traditional corn tortilla tacos w a topping bar. Pretty similar to las Palmas in Oakland.

Descent portions, simpler meat seasoning, standard toppings of cilantro onions salsas etc.

It all fit the bill and we both enjoyed it.

Vibe and atmosphere is super…quarter effort, minimal but works. Like a tarp over some tables, plastic chairs, etc. In general, it feels like an abandoned gas station — and it looks like an abandoned gas station. I kinda like it lol

This place is a solid traditional. Not sure I would drive from pgh for this, but if you are in the area - come, enjoy yourself, and as long as the vibe doesn’t throw you off - it’s good

Great tacos!

I tried the tripe for the first time but after reading the way it should be tender, this tripe taco was very chewy. The fresh salsa and spices were delicious however I would have thought that they would have had some shedded cheese to put on as well.

A lovely grocer that, per my request, ordered an item I couldn't consistently get elsewhere either by quantity or quality. A great price as well! Thank you!

Our family absolutely loves this place!!! Our girls are picky eaters and every single last one of them get so excited to run to “the taco shop” lol! This is always our go to place for tacos! Super friendly staff and amazing food!

The tacos are great and the store (old gas station) has a nice selection of Latino ingredients (like herbs, peppers, cheeses) and product lines from south of the border.
