This is very good Chinese food! We have lived in Chicago, San Francisco Bay, and many other places and this is a really good quality Chinese food. The atmosphere is okay if you dine in. The service is excellent. But take out is an excellent option as well as long as you don't have to drive it very far.

1st time eating here. The waitress was great! Sadly, that's not why people return to a restaurant & I will not be returning here. I ordered the Bourbon Chicken from the lunch menu because I love the Bourbon Skillet at Denny's. No comparison. The bourbon sauce was thin and weak. Also, the green pepper and the chicken were both overcooked. Plus, the portions were very small and overpriced. Overall, very dissatisfied with the food, but very satisfied with the service.
I've been to Coudersport several times for stargazing and this was the first time eating at china garden. Food was really good, better than where I live in a city. Staff was very friendly and attentative. They seem to keep the place in good shape and have a lot of room for seating. Will definitely be going back next time I'm in town.
