Ordered a square pie expecting a proper Sicilian, but this was basically a regular pizza stretched into a square. The dough was only slightly thicker than a normal slice — not the airy, crispy, substantial crust a real square should have. On top of that, there was way too much cheese and barely any sauce visible, which made the whole pie heavy and bland. If you know real NY square pizza (Di Fara, L&B, etc.), this will be a letdown.
This place is a treat. The best server (female forgot her name)s sweet, helpful. ! \nThe atmosphere is nostalgic. The food is amazing! Starting with those cinnamon buns. Everyone leaves with leftovers. The fresh bread served with my spaghetti was so good. Prices are very reasonable. You may have to wait for a table during busy times but worth it.
Super service from Robin. The food is authentic, rich and plenteous. Loved having dessert served up front (cinnamon roll with thick sweet icing/cream on top)—oh my! Small, but down-home cozy inside. The two girls at the front were great to give advice on the delicious, homemade desserts behind the glass. I’m not an Italian fan (hubby is), but this, this stuff is goood! A 5 star rating is rare for us.
