This place is an amazing spot in lower bucks. The food is amazing. Anything from comfortable eats to culinary delights. The drinks are sophisticated or refreshing. Had the best service and the best bartenders.

The Burst of Sunshine cocktail was so good! They have good specials during Eagles games too. The chicken and waffles was really yummy. Our waitress was really happy and nice.

I’ve been to dog and bull a dozen or so times since they renovated and it’s always been great! The service is pleasant, the food is generally very tasty and I love the bar atmosphere! Great drinks as well. The outside firepits are awesome on a cool evening and the space is always clean! Definitely check this place out if you’re ever in the area! Oh! And of course you can bring your dog- huge plus!!

I walked into The Dog and Bull expecting a fun dive bar vibe, maybe some decent wings and a strong drink. What I got instead was a lukewarm Bud Light, a barstool that tried to kill me, and a smell so foul I briefly wondered if something had died behind the jukebox. The whole place looks like a garage sale threw up, and the bartender had the charm of a DMV employee on hour 12 of a double shift.
The clientele? Picture a sad Tinder reunion where everyone got catfished. One guy was aggressively hitting on the jukebox, another was arguing with the pool table, and someone in the corner may or may not have been asleep — or dead. I tried to order a margarita and the bartender squinted at me like I’d asked for a unicorn in a martini glass. I ended up with a whiskey sour that tasted like despair and lighter fluid.
And sweet baby Jesus, the bathrooms. I've seen cleaner porta-potties at state fairs. One toilet was clogged with what looked like a cursed meatball sub, and the sink was leaking something suspiciously brown. I left feeling sticky, emotionally damaged, and in desperate need of a tetanus shot. The Dog and Bull? More like The Dog and Full-On Trauma.
Generally my experiences here have been great but last time I found a a roach in my hummus. This meal turned into a visit to Steve’s Bug Off. What once was the gold standard for cuisine in Croydon is no more! When I brought it to the servers attention I was essentially told to buzz off. Now that is a bunch of Bull. Please do better.

While out to dinner with friends, we were all having a great time. We obviously had drinks but we were not being loud or annoying to other guest yet we somehow got flagged. We realized that there was a man watching our table the whole night. It was uncomfortable and unwelcoming. The food was also horrible will definitely not be coming back to this place. I hope this review is as horrible as your service was to your guests.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Food pretty good pub food, not too greasy or salty. Dog friendly outdoor area, with helpful hooks to tie up your leash and good spacing between tables. If you sit outside, there is constant noise from the busy road and railway that the pub is sandwiched between, so be aware of that if you intend to bring your dog. It’s next to Croydon station so it’s convenient to get there by regional rail.

Our servers name was Simone, she was amazing from the start. She recommended our drinks and our entrees, and my bf and I loved everything. The seasonal Apple strudel was sooo good!
