I ordered the quesadilla birria because on the doordash overview it looks tasty, but to my dismay it looked NOTHING like the picture and left a bad after taste. I paid for it so I had to eat it, but I don't think I'll order from here again.

Food was great, customer service by the so called manager not so much. Ordered 2 adults meals, an order of nachos, a kids quesadilla meal and a kids chicken nuggets meal. We ordered on GrubHub and it came fast but without the quesadilla kids meal. When I checked GrubHub my order said the quesadilla was refunded bc it was cancelled by the restaurant. So I called and asked why my one item was cancelled and was told because they were out of nuggets. But I got my nuggets I say. He asks for a moment then returns and says yeah we were out but it's ok we didn't charge you we refunded the money. Great except for the fact that I have 2 kids and now one doesn't have a meal and you didn't bother to call me to ask for a replacement. He then tells me he understands but there is nothing he can do. At this point I will admit I freaked out and did not act as I should. I asked if I could order another kids meal and pick it up and was ignored and once again told there was nothing he could do. I asked again to order another kids meal and he responded I'd rather you not as I don't want to deal with your energy when you come in. I asked him if he was going to make my order or he could hand me to someone who could. He told me to come in and the food would be ready. I go to pick it up be he apologized and said it was on the house for our troubles. I honestly felt bad for how I interacted with him on the phone so I I stated on paying. He charged me ten dollars for a kids meal that was 7.50. I realized I was overcharged when I got home and also realized it wasn't the nuggets I asked for so I called back and asked to speak to the manager. The same guy I interacted with before answered and then said hold on. A minute later the same guy came on the phone. I asked why I was overcharged and he replied that he gave me double the food for my troubles and was going to give it for free but I insisted on paying. So basically I was charged for more food that I didn't ask for. He lao told me that he had said they were out of nuggets before but I don't understand why if they were out of nuggets dis I get nuggets but no quesadilla yet there were tortillas and cheese used in our other items we ordered. He refused to answer this,told me I was wasting his time and hung up. So to recap, food was great but the restaurant canceled n item for a kid without calling me, then overcharged me and still have me wrong item!!!!
This is more or less a family run cafe. It’s not much to look at, but perfect. The service was amazing. They changed the TV to cartoons for the kids when we arrived. All three of us loved our meals, which rarely happens. The food tasted like home cooking rather than that generic American “Mexican” flavor so common in other restaurants. The prices couldn’t beat. I will totally go again and I can be pretty critical of restaurants.
