La Vera pizzeria is the best in this area they are very friendly inside but the important thing is I'm from Long Island and this is the closest Long Island Pizza that I have had and that's a big compliment.

Great service from a very friendly staff to start with. Delicious, perfectly done food, with generous portions. One of the only places left that still has reasonable prices. All of that added together equal perfection.

Came in for quick 2 slices of plain pizza & cup of fountain soda

They had no plain pizza out. Bummer especially during lunch hours. The rest of slices looked pretty old so settled on something I didn’t really want. 1 slice of white.

Tried to order a fountain soda & they have no cups.

The cherry on top was when I went to sit down, my table was out of napkins as well

Came here to pick up a door dash delivery. The atmosphere was nice. I was greeted timely and the order was ready in a few minutes after arrival.
All in all a good experience

This was one of the worst delivery orders I've ever had. The chicken tenders were fine.

The French fries, despite asking for well done, were wet and soggy. The chicken cheesesteak was dry, the meat was way overcooked, the roll was burnt and split, there was no cheese. Will not order from this location again. The other location has always had great food, so I'm really not sure what went wrong here.

Where do I start? You walk into the restaurant and you can see your breath. The staff stated that it is difficult to regulate the temperature because the door continues to open and close. It is hard to understand that methodology as when you enter the restaurant you walk through a vestibule before entering the main area. This tells me that they did not have the heat on. We proceeded to order our meal, "personal breakfast pizza", chicken soup, toasted ravioli, and cheese garlic bread. As we waited at our table, the owner's son was sitting to our left, playing a game on his phone so loud that I could not hear the people at my table. I knew this was the owner's son as he brought out food for him indicated to other patrons who the child was.
Our food came out together, which should be expected. The breakfast pizza was soggy which tells me they had cooked the pizza with one of the toppings (ham, bacon, sausage) frozen. The eggs looked like they were cooked separately and then placed on the pizza towards the end of the cooking process, which made the pizza look horrible (See picture) This is NOT how breakfast pizza is cooked. The raw egg is placed on the pizza with the other ingredients during prepping and cooked at the same time. The Toasted ravioli, had zero filling (See pictures). They were super small and not worth the money. The chicken soup had zero flavor and the garlic bread was a hoagie roll toasted with garlic butter and very little cheese.
With the restaurant as cold as it was outside (35 degrees) and the poor quality of the food with a price tag of $38.00, La Vera Pizza was not worth it.
