I would pop in here from time to time and it was always fine. Unfortunately things have went downhill. I can't explain it except the cup that they served my drink in should have been thrown in the trash. It was a plastic Pepsi cup with chips all around the mouth of the cup and they actually asked me if I wanted a straw! The silverware is filthy. This last time has done it for me. Can't comprehend how someone doesn't recognize when to throw something in the trash instead of serving your customers with these unacceptable utensils, cups, plates, etc. It's gross

Place is filthy, chaotic, and completely unprofessional. Owners fighting and cursing, the staff look miserable, and food is way overpriced and inedible. Cash only and poorly ran. *avoid at all costs*
I have never left a negative review in my life, but I feel compelled to share my recent experience. Apologies for the long review, but it’s necessary.
This cafe is in a truly shocking and disastrous state. I’m genuinely baffled that it hasn’t been shut down. It’s visibly dirty, severely lacking in maintenance and upkeep, and feels downright unsanitary. It is also poorly operated and managed, and the food is both overpriced and absolutely horrific.
• First, the environment is unwelcoming and rundown. The furniture, fixtures, booths, and floors all seem decades old and appear not to have been cleaned in a very long time. Mugs, cups, plates, and silverware were chipped, bent, discolored, and stained. Everything felt disgusting and outdated. I wasn’t comfortable using anything that was provided, not even the bathroom, which was also in extremely poor condition. The hygiene standards are seriously lacking, and it makes you question how safe the food preparation and general environment really is.
• Even more disappointing are the owners, husband Danny and wife Bridgette. They seemed seriously disorganized, delusional, and hanging on by a thread, completely lacking in basic customer service and professionalism. At one point, they were yelling and screaming profanities at each other, calling each other horrible names, and treating staff poorly. Every customer and employee appeared extremely uncomfortable. The staff also seemed noticeably unhappy and severely overworked. Based on conversations overheard and local chatter, there are serious concerns about how employees are treated and compensated which, if true, is deeply disappointing and unethical.
• As for the food, every plate served and the little bits on it, was cold, soggy, and tasted like it had just come out of a microwave. The recommended items, such as SOS and the biscuits and gravy, were laughable. We ordered those along with a few others and just wow…they were all a huge disappointment. The food is also overpriced and not at all competitive with nearby options that offer better quality and service.
The overall environment feels unsafe, chaotic, and completely unprofessional, similar to a circus. I couldn’t shake the feeling though that the staff were stressed and unhappy. To make matters worse, this is a cash-only business. In today’s world, most customers expect to pay with cards or digital wallets. A cash-only policy is outdated and inconvenient, and it raises legitimate concerns about transparency and business ethics from a customer’s perspective.
Please choose a different place for dining. Spend your hard-earned money and precious time with loved ones somewhere else. Trust me…you’ll thank me later.

Awful breakfast experience. Service was terrible. My friend’s scrapple was “raw” in the middle and was informed by a manager that’s “how it comes”, what? She asked for well done and it was raw and had a weird color to it. They did take it off the bill. Wait staff had no personality and she never checked on his to see if we needed anything, look over to the kitchen and she’s eating. Husbands eggs were runny. They clearly are buying low quality food. Hands down the worst breakfast I ever had.
Great place to eat
Great down home spot. My first time there and they made me feel welcome. Staff was friendly and efficient.
We went there early in the AM and it was very, quiet and peaceful. The food was great and the owners were truly wonderful 😊 Highly recommended
Elizabeth was our server and she was awesome
Food was delicious
Utensils could use an upgrade and the glasses too but otherwise we will return
Not overly crowded at the time we went
Roomy dining area
Terrible breakfast. Came here on the referral of a friend. She said it was good. I’m surprised the Board of Health hasn’t shut them down never again.

Great breakfast nice people cozy cafe
This is a confused place. First , I sat at the bar. There was a glass of orange juice in front of me , not sure why. Where I was sitting at the bar , is where the bussers put the dirty dishes and empty off plates. It took 5 minutes for me to get my coffee and an additional 10 mins for me to order my food. I stepped outside waiting on my food to take a call. I told the waitress I would be right back. One of the buses had thrown my coffee out he got me another one but I had to ask for a fork and knife , both were dirty. By the time my food arrived , my 17 homefries were cold. My toast was cold . The omelette was good . I did pay extra for a blueberry muffin and got 2 things of what were not a muffin . The BEST part. From the time I got my food two of the staff had place dirty rags in front or me. My food cost $23 for cold home fries , something that wasn’t a muffin and dirty silverware. And the orange juice was there when I was leaving.
Unless you want to wait an hour for your food Do Not come here to eat breakfast! I took 20 minutes for someone to take our order. Many better places around.
