It was my first time at this venue. I was surprised to see that most of their tables have these benches that are death machines. Don't get too tipsy here folks because if someone stands up on the other side of the bench- it turns into a see-saw. They recognize the fact that it's a thing that happens by taping little paper notes on the end of their benches as a "warning". This instead of just fixing the benches?

Lastly, the pork tacos from the Hawaiian food truck were egregious. The pork itself was a borderline puree. Wet in all the wrong ways. Completely soaked my two untoasted flour tortillas with the most mid BBQ sauce on top. Only ate one. I'll hand it to the fella in the truck- he did ask if I wanted to taste anything first. That's on me. I ordered without tasting. If I did taste I would have walked away for sure.“

“Only place that makes the BEST general tso chicken! Their fried dumplings are AMAZING too! Been my go to place for the past few years! They do a very good job at listening to special order request hence I hate onions I order it without there is not even one onion in my entree! Also it’s a very family atmosphere! More so I take out place than sit down and eat in. I wish the parking was better but for food like this I will deal with the hassle!“

“My family and I ate at this amazing restaurant! We happened to be in the area and stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant. We were greeted nicely, the service was good and the food was delicious! We even met Richard who took the time to graciously explain the history and origin of the restaurant/ menu. The atmosphere was inviting and rich with culture. I would totally recommend Samarkand! If you are ready for a new and unique dinning experience this is the place for you!“

“Went last night with two friends for my birthday! I think our chef said his name was Gino! He was great and our waitress and the food was great! My only complaint was that the music was blaring so, we couldn't hear what anyone was saying and we really could even talk to each other!!! It took away from the experience since our chef was saying things that we couldn't hear. I did ask three different staff members if they could lower it to no avail. We don't think we will go back there again! We had to keep asking our waitress to repeat herself and that got to be exhsusting😣“

“Wasn't as impressed as I thought I would be. Seafood tower the best part of this $300 meal for 3. Their mussels were good, but had better. Their red fish was delicious. Their keylime pie went in the garbage. Our salads came after the meal, Ceasars with bread crumbs no croutons and definitely no anchovy, which i find odd for a seafood place. I dine out quite a bit, this was mediocre at best. Wont be going back. Would consider it if they had a liquor license just for the tower.“

“My husband and I just tried The Iron Oven for the first time. It will definitely not be our last. We went for brunch and enjoyed everything we ordered down to my Drinks. Very reasonable prices and good size portions. The staff is very friendly and sweet. Our waitress Gianna was wonderful and she alone would have had us returning. Even the gentleman who brought out our food was super friendly. Highly recommend their brunch and cannot wait to go back for dinner soon. Great food, good prices, great staff and good vibe.“

I ordered pickup through Uber eats as I haven’t had them in a while & Of course they still didn’t disappoint. They were so quick with making the food! It came fast & was packaged with care! It was warm & fresh & full of flavor! Truly a 5 star experience! I recommend EVERYONE try here! The owners are deserving of local business support as well! Thank you, I will be back again of course! “@halal_mexican is a hidden gem in Philadelphia that has some of the best HALAL Mexican cuisine that I’ve ever tasted. I love that I was able to find a Mexican halal spot. Pictured: -Flautas -Shrimp Chimichanga -Mini Corn on the Cob -Chicken Tacos -Steak Burrito Bowl My favorite item from there has to be the flautas. It’s a deep fried rolled chicken tacos served with pico de gallo and sour cream. Highly recommend this restaurant to all those seeking a tasty mexican restaurant with good service and halal food! “My Favorite spot I love the crab Rangoon s The chicken and beef brisket Pho is the best. They never disappoint. They have smoothies strawberry and mango are my go to flavors. All the food is very fresh . The food is prepared fast. The staff is friendly. The restaurant and restrooms are very clean and modern. Ample parking.“

She seemed to be higher up in the ranks (her name is Susan maybe?), and she is a wonderful, honest woman and an overall pleasure to converse with. “Incredible! First the staff there are incredibly welcoming and nice. It was great to chat with them while our order was being prepped. The food is insanely good!! My son ordered their special Birria cheesesteak which was amazing and we ordered Birria tacos, triple decker quesadilla and chicken nachos which we can’t stop eating. Soooo good“

“I have eaten here many times but this past Saturday the food was OUTSTANDING! We started the the shrimp and steak tips the flavor was on point. We then had the lamb chops and the scallops. Everything cooked to perfection and the seasoning was fabulous. I think something must have changed because the bar has been lifted as we throughly enjoyed our dinner.“
