Been going to Overbook for awhile now and after moving we decided to make the trip back for their burgers. Our server was unenthusiastic, didn't greet us, and overall seemed annoyed we were dining in that evening. We waited awhile for our drinks and decided to order an appetizer. The appetizer came with items we requested it come without (tomatoes and onions) and the chicken inside was chewy. Our server came back with drinks and simply asked if she could remove the plate. Didn't even ask if there was anything wrong with our food when clearly nobody had eaten majority of it and the mound of tomatoes and onions on the side. We waited about 25 minutes for refills of our soda and blue moons (we never got the blue moon refills). After our disappointing appetizer we then waited another 45 minutes for our burgers, which we requested crispy bacon for one. When the burgers came, our one family member received meat and cheese with no other toppings. The bacon was so undercooked and limp that it was a waste of the additional charge. The fries were overdone and the burger buns were soaked in grease and fell apart after the first bite. Another of our party received a whole raw onion slice on their burger and we had to share the lettuce that came with only one of the other burgers. Our waitress didn't ask if everything came out okay and was too busy standing at the end of the bar talking with her other co-workers. The table next to us, however, was being catered to and every 5 minutes or so a different server or kitchen staff member came out to see if their food was up to par with their expectations. They apparently have the capability but it is unfortunate that this is place is now a hit or complete miss. For us..this was a very disappointing experience and we will not be returning and will take our business elsewhere.

Parking: When busy parking could be tight, more parking in the rear of the restaurant..

Food and waiter were amazing, the bartender was awful. She was very rude! Made me feel like it was torture for her to get my drink, as well as a few others at the table, all i asked for was a soda... The waiter however on the other hand was exceptionally nice! Need more people like him in this world!

We had heard so many good things about this place so my family and I decided to meet at this restaurant to give it a try. The outdoor patio where we sat is very nice- I'll give it that. But overall our experience here was one of the worst I've ever had. We arrived at 515 and didn't receive our food till nearly 645. We waited over an hour + for burgers and cheese steaks. Now- I can understand this if the place was packed...but it wasn't. Drinks took forever and our appetizer took over 30+ minutes for a crab dip. It was ironic how when we brought up the slow time to our waitress suddenly our app appeared ? She also never came back to even pick it up... flies were getting into the dip and we had to quite literally hand it to her to please get it off our table. A woman who I assume may have been a manager was very confrontational when she approached our table as we were frustrated for the extended wait times. She argued with us about when we "placed our order." Once we finally got our food... the fries were Luke warm (clearly the food had been sitting) and the burgers were extremely well done nearly burnt. First impressions are critical and with what we experienced tonight we will not recommend this establishment nor be returning.

We are in from out of town and friends suggested we go to Overbrook as they heard good things about the restaurant. From first appearance looked nice. Outdoor dining was full & indoor was as expected a bar atmosphere. Okay we went with it. Took a window table & noticed the cobwebs in the windows. Nice decor if it were Halloween! My Martini was good pour, no wine list & what they served as mediocre at best. Now for the food. My wife ordered a house salad nice portion and the special short rib raviolis. Hers was the last dish served and the food was ice cold. I guess they didn’t microwave them long enough for the outside to defrost. No one from management came to our table to express their concerns or offer a complimentary cocktail or dessert. In my opinion stay away from The Overbrook as the owners nor management care what they serve to their paying clientele.

We have been going to Overbrook for years. Never again, waited 40 minutes for a tossed salad and 1 hour 10 minutes for our Dinner. Horrible service, the place is so Loud that you cant enjoy your meal and the place wasn't crowded. It used to be a nice place, not anymore. Overbrook you went down hill fast. Never again.
