The subs here are excellent. Their seasoning is great on the subs and the meats, cheese, and bread were all fresh. Could have used a little more lettuce on mine but overall great subs.
Small complaint lies with the sides, the fried perogies were great but a little dry, could have used a sauce on the side or something like that. And fries were fine - could have used some salt or any other seasoning, they were very plain.
I love coking here every time I down in that area. Definitely one of my favorite hoagie places in the area

How have I not reviewed this shop before? My favorite hoagie shop in the Danville area. Orders are made quick with generous portions. The wet pepper spread is perfect.
They used to be cash-only, but I think on this recent visit they asked if it was cash or credit....so things may have changed.
Anyhoo, I highly recommend the Old School Italian...that's my go-to.

My burger's bread broke apart on the first bite. Which made my burger hard to eat. Burger was also not well cooked was on the pink side. Was a little pricey for just fries and a burger and tenders and fries.

I have a long history with this sub shop, I worked here when I was a teen back in the late 80s while Tony still owned and ran the restaurant so it was neat going back for a sub now. The last time I stepped foot in the place was in '92. I cannot believe the place is almost identical to when I last was in. A few coats of paint and some new equipment but the same lay out and counter. The food was very good but the only difference is I am now spoiled by homemade crusty Italian buns as opposed to the processed buns. Reminded me of hotdog/hamburger buns. The food was good though. We had cheese steaks with onions peppers and sauce. Very flavorful and filling. The gentleman behind the counter was soo sweet, he made out food as well. He talked with us for awhile and said he was Tony's nephew so it's good to see it stayed in the family. We would definitely stop back if we came back up from Harrisburg again. 56 years is a long time to have a sub shop ,,,,,good for them ...I hope they last another 50 and beyond!!
