We are in town for a wedding and were so excited to see a Friendlys still in operation! All ours back in Ohio have been closed for many years.
The restaurant was empty of other guests when we arrived. It was about 45 minutes before closing. We were greeted and seated quickly. We ordered and received our food quickly and it was delicious! Ice cream after was just as I remembered. The server was very friendly and attentive.
As others have stated, there was a kinda musty smell when we first came in, and it was very chilly. I had to leave my coat on the whole time to be comfortable. It was also obvious that someone was smoking inside the building somewhere as the overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke filled our noses as we were reviewing the menu. I'm assuming since there were no customers and it was close to closing, an employee figured they could smoke inside unnoticed. Thankfully that smell faded before our food came. But still not something we wanted to smell as we are preparing to eat.
Overall I'm very happy that we found this Friendlys location. It was a great nostalgic moment and the food upheld my expectations and memories of the great food Friendlys has always served.

Classic place. We enjoyed ourselves. The service and food were both good.
We were on a long road trip and needed to eat at some point and decided we also wanted to get some ice cream. Friendly's is known for their ice cream so we decided to stop. Wanting to stay on schedule, we got food to go and they were really fast with it. The staff was really nice. Our experience at this location was great.

It took 30 minutes to be seated ,the family in front of me probably waiting longer than I was and 20 minutes before I was asked what I wanted to drink and then they finally got it and took my order and then it took 25 minutes for my order to come out and it wasn't good and the waitress was that's how they are supposed to do it the triple stack was dried out no onions with a wilted lettuce and rotten tomato and the fries looked like all of the end pieces never returning to this Friendly's again and the waitress she was very rude and defensive about how they cook , the triple stack is supposed to be cooked that way she said, floor was dirty and they only had 7 tables with people at them and they had 2 waitresses and a shift manager on and as long as I was there she was nowhere too be seen and sitting in the back room and I was there over an hr.

Painfully understaffed. Service was slow because there was only one person working there plus one in the kitchen. I watched 8 different people arrive and then give up and leave because they were not greeted at reception after a long wait. The food was good, but we will not return here again. It just took twice as long as it should, and there were only 3 tables occupied at peak lunchtime.
